I mean can u only sign to a Rookie team when u are at 0% at Season Start or can u sign dots who are 90% thro Rookie and only need 3 more games until Sophemore and still Keep playing in Rookie League?

Best answer would come from an Admin as they would know for sure.

nope, you can make a player right now and he will have just as many SP as someone who started at the beginning of the season. he just wont have the stats from the games he missed

Hoping they wait till its too late till they say what the cutoff is, or else there will be some really stacked rookie teams next season

Rookie teams start at a level zero level cap, and the level cap goes up every 3 weeks, to follow along with the player growth rate. You can't sign a level 4 player to a new rookie team. He can sign with the sophomore teams, who will start with a level cap of 5, or he can wait around until the rookie teams catch up with him and sign when their caps reach level 4.

So if I made a guy right before he hit level 1, catch up on SP, and don't sign him to a team, he'll be a better level 0 player to start his rookie season, right?
