It is what it is I guess when you lose a game like that. Even dpride wakes up for that kinda stuff.

Fwiw the last 2 seasons of WL we had the #2 scoring offense in our conference both times in the regular season, and did make the final 4 last season and final 8 this season. Goal is a WL Championship and obviously we've fallen short of that.

Funfacts on our first 4 WL seasons...

s14 we averaged 40.6 ppg on offense.
s16 we averaged 24.6 ppg on offense (not counting gutted game).
s18 we averaged 39.8 pgg on offense.
s21 we averaged 35 ppg on offense

After that it gets a little dicey on who the Hedgehogs OC is for those WL trips (until s37 when I was OCing again for the full season). Feel free to crown me as an awful WL OC if you'd like, but if you take a look at most of those early WL games, we are doing alright on offense.

I am what I am as an OC, but obviously a 0 point playoff game is not necessarily representative. Thems the breaks though.

There is no doubt your early trips were poor defensive showings.

Jesus. It was only one game man. I just felt the need to come back and show you how it's done in the world league if people try for more than 5 minutes of DCing. Don't doubt your entire career as an OC because of one embarrassing shut out. Keep your head up choad.

This is more about ufshowboat than it is about Wise. No one else was shutting the Hedgehogs down. It also helped that their O gameplan was very good, particularly in 3rd down conversions. It was a really good team effort, and trust me, there was effort on both sides of the ball.

Also, hats off to the scrambling arch/passing qb Reggie Ball. He's a tough to get to. It's been way too long since someone built a good one like that. Fun dot.

Thanks T2. And Jiddy did come up with a great offensive gameplan. Every now and then he decides to score more than 13 points in the playoffs. Reggie Balls and Jiddy really make an amazing couple.
