Any suggestions?

Isnīt tackling/tackling grip at 40 pretty low for an end build? I wasnīt a tester so I dont really know, just seems low!

I'm not a part of the illustrious tester group, but I have "tested" many different DT skills. Here's a few points from what I've seen. Snap reaction seems like it will be more important down the road, but the real-time difference between say 10 SR and 70 SR doesn't seem to be very huge which is probably why it's one of the cheaper skills. Secondly, my instinct (complete opinion) is that quickness is more important than sprinting for the DT position simply because you're so close to your target to begin with and you'd want to focus more on acceleration and going in and out of (and around blockers). Think of it as the three cone drill vs. the 40 yard dash. Plus QBs love to escape to the sides so quickness is important to turn with them rapidly (and pursuit). Other than that I feel like there are (or should be) many variations of making a good pass rushing DT. That's my two cents at least.

I'd say you need more Balance to stay on your feet as your busting through the line. and more Pursuit so you can get the QB even when he starts scrambling

Here's my go at a pass rushing DT. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/12874
He gets sacks in pick up games, even had a 3.5 sack game. He has a few sacks in ladder games and hurries in season games. Pretty much all his sacks come from when spin cycle works. My plan is to pump pass rush tech, and footwork to get that to fire often and then we'll see what happens.

This is my go at a Pass Rushing DT who knows if it will work he had 1 sack in his first pickup game and is just in the D Leagues so its not the best place to test out the build but its still fun testing.

if you're investing in quickness and hoping for success as an interior pass rusher, you're most likely gonna have a bad time. The reason agility was important for pass rusher in GLB was because it helped you to break blocks. Quickness doesn't. Quickness specifically says that it helps you to change direction quickly, and most likely also prevents you from losing speed on said direction changes. You don't change directions, you just need to break the block, run at the QB, and make sure to get him down when you get there. Snap reaction + pass rush power/technique + pursuit + balance + tackling technique.

For a pass rush DT, he should have 90+ snap reaction, 80+ quickness and I'd even say 60+ sprinting.

nobody really knows anything yet - that's part of the beauty of GLB2. That second quote is older, I've since actually read the description for quickness and changed my mind.

So your right that quickness helps only really when changing directions but after watching all the DT sacks I can, there are a lot where the QB trys to scramble and the DT has to change direction to get to him. mostly against the shotgun sets but still enough it seems like its worth having it as a secondary skill investment

Watching how HBs have to come to a near complete stop to change direction, it would seem quickness would be key for any pass rusher considering the path the QB is rarely a strait line.

Could be footwork...

I agree, I think even if you break a block smoothly the DT will need quickness to get to the QB--either he scrambles or you need to run around other guys. The only time it seems unnecessary is when you immediately pancake the blocker and have an instant shot at the QB, but that's very rare.

can you only respect abilitys. cause i am coming to a quick realization that all pass rushers need spin cycle

I haven't exactly played "good competition" but I've found Pass Rush Technique and Spin Cycle to be most useful on my best DT.
