No, I was using hyperbole to illustrate that you can't handwave away stat inflation by saying "both teams get it"

I mean, it doesn't really matter what we say in this thread, because it's pretty obvious Bort's not going to add a bunch of random temp boosts to the game after 12 days into the season, but just thought people reading the thread should know there's a good reason not to just jump into this crap until you've actually seen what dots are capable of and whether or not such temp boosts would be unbalancing to the game.

And, again, inflation is not happening here.

That would suggest your performance will go up always.

But the truth is that whether it would go up down or indifferent would depend upon whether your coaches and your own choices were intelligently made, and whether the opposing teams choices countered your choices so they had no impact or if they worked, and your oppositions performance would be similarly variable.

So if its not always going to go up, then its not inflationary.

This is not as impactful as the +5 +5 of temp boosts in GLB1, and I hardly think they inflated or ruined the game.
