You know what man, I feel your pain. The other day I was watching one of my replays and we were winning by 3 and needed only to run out the clock, I was thinking end of game this is 4 down territory, but we punted and got beat. It's how the game is set up so asking about it will bring out the sucknuts who will lavish tongues on the ADMINS cockatoos at the drop of a hat so it's better left unsaid. Then it's also their game so how they set it up is their business, one day that same situation will be in my favor. So it's a wash really, so far I like this game on the slightly scale but it is sure gonna help me burn through my stashed flex from the first game.

4 down territory only because GLB has it tattoo'd into your brain that 4th and short is a gimme.

I mean when it comes to GLB I would go for it on 4th and 1 from inside my own 10 up by 3 in the final minutes.

You're saying an NFL, or any football team, would go for it on 4th when up by 3 at the end of the game?

I still don't think I've seen a FG attempt on 1st down in OT. Hell, even the Bears coach was blasted a few weeks ago for trying a FG on 2nd down and missing. Granted it was a 40 yard attempt then, but I can't remember the last time I saw a FG attempt on 1st down (in a non-clock expiring situation).

if I were losing it's a must go for it situation, if I'm winning you are correct best to make them beat me. But the option isn't on here so.............

No I would say if I'm saying anything at all is, in the current sim it doesn't matter if you are up by 3 or down by 3 with time running out in the 4th inside the opponents 20 you will punt on 4th down. That's just the way it is regardless of liking it or not it's the reality. I do enjoy this version of GLB though, setting up O and D and putting people on the DC piece of cake, building I'm not sure on yet because I suck at building, funny though I thought this version might help remedy that

Well if you're punting inside the opponents 20 while behind by 3, that probably needs looked at, in so many ways.
