1) I don't run GLB. Not sure where you get that from. I have no input into what goes into this game or not. I suggest just like anyone else.

Please justify your opinion. Like I really am failing to understand how not being to kick the field goal on the 7 yard line on first down, in overtime, is NOT ok

Really? Fix your builds? The way to fix those builds is make them worse so he doesnt get a first down and kick the field goal instead. Donīt you think better end game AI would be a better solution, Mr Palin(*)?

The fix ur builds statement was purely about fumbling. But if you want to use some backward logic about making builds worse...ok?

You're putting words into my mouth here. At no point did I say kicking the FG there was being abused. I said much of the situational stuff was removed. This just happened to be caught up in the cleanup.

In all honesty, based on the kickers I've seen, you're better off NOT relying on a kicker to win a game at this level. I can only imagine your rage if the K had run out there and missed...

Bort is not going to give more AI control. This game is meant to be more casual. If you want to micromanage your AI, stick to GLB Classic. That's the message that was delivered repeatedly and, unlink Classic, I don't think Bort is going to allow the inmates to run the asylum in GLB2

This is an advertised "football simulation game." Well I'm sorry but any football team on the face of the earth is going to, if not kick the field goal, hand it off directly up the middle 3 times. A halfback trying to get open space around the edge on the 7 in OT? gimme a break. I'm not even related to this game instance, I'm just outraged by moderator behavior at the moment. Thank you for being HONEST this time, and saying that it's at least Bort's decision. Telling people to "fix their builds" (I know you're not the one that said that, Air) is entirely the wrong way to deal with a problem that is clearly one that makes more sense than not to fix.

I would support a suggestion that went along with what you're saying. As it stands there is only one option.

Inside Max FG Range, 1st-3rd Down

Perhaps add

Inside Safe FG Range, 1st-3rd Down

That makes a little more sense since you would definitely call plays differently when you're barely able to kick the FG and inside a safe range. As it stands now you have to be somewhat aggressive or risk having to kick a longer FG than you'd like. The FG should come on 4th (or maybe even 3rd) down.

Then I could run it 3 times directly up the gut or out of goal line to give myself the best chance to retain possession/eat clock/not get sacked or throw a ridiculously stupid pick? ...play smart ball possession like a football team would do, in the game of football?

Would this be a <2 minutes kind of thing, or would these settings be in effect all game?

If I'm understanding you correctly, I will post this in the suggestion thread right now with your endorsement. Thank you for reasonable compromise.
