You play ladder games on day 2. Ladder games > league games because they will tell you not which team won their league, but which team won the whole age group.

Your league games count towards the ladder, but your ladder games won't count towards the league.

Both will give you "a game" towards your player's progression to the next level.

Both games give you 1000 SP (plus more when you reach the Stars on the progression).

You have a problem with playing 2/3 days instead of 1/2?

You have a problem with ladder games?

You have a problem with the free day to hold tournys on non-gamedays?

WTF is wrong with any of that stuff?

If everyone aimed to create superstars in year 3 we would have a glut of superstars with no team to go to since teams can only one superstar a piece if I remember correctly.

I'm pretty sure you can get more than one per team as long as you're not signing everyone to high contracts.

I find it ridiculous that casual coordinating GLB2 (as has been advertised) gets another day to coordinate between reg season games than advanced AI GLB. Matter of fact, I spent the good part of my coordinating days, which spanned over years, burning out and during those YEARS of playing hoping/praying that non-casual would get more time in-between games for coordinators. Then they release a f*cking less intense game and do it for THAT ONE to throw salt in that multi-year wound.

How many people have burnt the f*ck out on coordinating for this game while having the burden of God knows how many agents accounting for hundreds of dollars spent into each and every season hanging over their heads like Damocles' sword?

So I'll flip the script on you...WTF ISN'T wrong with this picture?

Ladder games are, in essence, regular season games. Losing ladder games won't keep you out of the playoffs but they're not lolScrimmages either.

What is the value in these ladder games if they don't matter for the playoffs?

Because they affect your global rank. It it like a GLB Official tourny game, but it uses a ladder system based on ELO ratings.

Let's say, for argument's sake (God knows I'm not sold on anything like this) that I give you the benefit of the doubt on this....How much time would a typical "want to be at the top" player put into all 3 games into that 3 days...or, even better...all 6 days to run between 2 reg season games and however many ladder games...as compared to the scouting, ai and package prep of a single WL reg season or playoff game?

My educated guess is 10% of the time.

That's where I'm coming from.

So, I continue to point at the signature.

I spend 0 time planning for my games, both in GLB1 and GLB2. In GLB1 that got me to the top 4 teams in any season of any pro league, but would not get me into the WL playoffs.

In GLB2, I don't know how much time you plan on spending. That's really up to you. You could watch game film and try and figure out what D's are working and what aren't. I make my adjustments on the player build side instead. My bots are leaking against the outside run? Add more sprinting and blitz awareness.

I think the fact that you just seem to be unhappy in general might affect your temperment.

A lot of us seem to like this game so far. You seem angry in advance of knowing whether you should be angry.

I've had a signature that says "WTF is wrong with this game" and have been pointing at it on these forums since...oh...2009 or so...So yeah, you get the Captain Obvious designation on this realization...I am glad we can get past this obvious point and move onward with any further discussion, however.

Oh...don't be confused...I am NOT coordinating for either game anymore (or ever, as in the case of GLB2)...but I would be amazed if GLB2, branded as casual, ever matches some of the time I've put into coordinating games into this. Ever. And I'm not alone. For every guy like you that says "I spent 37 seconds and won the Nat Pro silver trofee" there's another guy that put in mulitple hours into a playoff or important reg season game. So let's not act clueless. The point is that I would be amazed if not 1, but 3 GLB2 games ever eclipsed an hour in total "deemed necessary" (not just a-type must have everything in order) coordinating.

Jiddy why are you acting like people spend a lot of time in GLB1 now?

I think a lot of people realized over the years that their time investment wasn't worth it due to RNG.

I do however think that gameplanning won't be as frustrating because teams won't be able to be good at everything like they once were in GLB1. The initial setups of my DAI took maybe 30 minutes... but that doesn't mean I'm not going to tweak it as I watch more film and the builds start filling out.
