But you have to admit , You would have won that conference if you boosted early or late. So I guess i see your point if money is not important to you. Its all about the levels

Your blameing their losses on the fact they did not boost.....how vauable are those 15 points again?

The Playoffs are different. People actually come up with genius gameplans because its for all the marbles. In the regular season people are still experimenting and try dumb shit here and there that they would never attempt in the Playoffs. Also, you want home field advantage and concession sales so that you can gain a couple extra million.

There are no guarantees in this game. We went 15-1 last season (should have been 16-0) and we lost in the conference title game.

I'm not going to comment on why we have or have not boosted and when we did or are going to do it. We are only interested in winning the title. People can say or believe what they want about it. We are not concerned about it.

I still believe Windsor is the favourite this season. We understood that we were risking a bit of our championship shot by boosting early, but we needed the playoff cash for long-term growth/stability.

So I went and looked at the XP history on my level 23 LB and here is what I found:

Assuming you boost three levels from level 19 to 22 at the beginning of the season...

Difference in game XP is about 50 per game.
Difference in daily training XP is 9 per day.

50 x 16 = 900
9 x 40 = 360

Total difference theoretically is 1260. Except you have to take into account the levels you gain throughout the season reducing that amount as well. I think if anything you might gain an extra level depending on where your XP totals land throughout the season.

In lower levels it is obvious that there would be a potentially HUGE difference but around level 20 the returns are diminished greatly.

As I said many times before, the gain you get from boosting late is minimal. It might be one level. And even then if you have one level on another team then its still going to come down to who gameplans better.

Age of Conan happened.

Plus they are out to prove some idiotic point that waiting to boost will allow them to dominate the Playoffs. Im sorry, but 15 measely points wont do jack squat. Its going to cost 3 points per skill so basically they will only be able to increase one key attribute by 5 ? Wow. Amazing !

You get an extra level by waiting to boost. So it's 20 extra SP. That can make a huge difference.

wonder what math you are using.

I am no GLB master, and the numbers game to game chance but in genreal for me

level 19 is 186 a game and 38 a night

level 22 is 156 a game and 28 a night

30 ish x 16 = 480

10 x 40 = 400

But the 19 guy is going to level up faster and close the gap.

by the tme you done maybe thier is half a level in there somewhere.
