Odds to win it all, IMO

Odessa 2/1
MPHD 3/1
OFOTD 4/1
Richey 4/1
South Bend 5/1
Smooth 5/1
Oslo 8/1
Kosovo 15/1

If i had to place a bet w/ those odds I'll take Richey, even though i predicted them to lose vs smooth, If i had to put actual money down......

Holy shit, i just thought of a fun way for bort to make some money, project odds and allow users to bet w/ real flexies....

:offtotextbortnow:

LOL yeah right

we already do that in my PF. I have been running a betting site from my PF for some time. You know how much flex I made off of taking a dive with Moose, Im fucking rich

Immortals v OFOTFD
OFOTFD's win in round 1 wasnt very impressive simply because Moose and especially happy cow sucks, however South Bend's victory over DS's #38 team was very impressive especially considering how well mean was playing down the stretch. OFOTFD is going to be up a creek here because bolick doesnt care, he's told us as much, Immortals win 38-34 on a late game 45 yd TD pass with triple coverage on the scat HB in the back of the endzone, bolick rage quits and sells the team and VDA gets to stay in WL, it's a win win for all.

Honestly, thats the greatest write up ever.

I <3 MPHD team but with all of DS attention on odessa I have to go with them in this game.

I think Oslo wins fairly easily cuz I don't know anything about Kosovo.

Richey smooth will be interesting and tough to predict but I'll take richey just cuz they're solid. Might need a quick TD late and that could be a problem for them

Ofotd and south bend, both classic style teams should be a great game. I'll take Ofotd

3-1 and had a feeling richey slow moving offense might cause them trouble

yah, I thought so too. Really the best strategy to beat a morale crushing team is shorten the game with a ball control offense. Obviously didn't watch the game, but surprised Richey was only able to muster 14 points and punted 6 times with 2 INTs. But I watched a couple plays and it seems like Smooth took massive gambles on defense, leaving dots uncovered all over, and failed to punish them for it. Hats off to Smooth, I really thought this was a match up they wouldn't win.

While I think I suck as a DC, I definitely take more chances in big games than most. I think people see uncovered receivers and automatically think omg fail when that is not the case. This play for example, I don't cover the HB or FB which allows me max coverage on the 3 other eligible receivers.

The HB and FB in that play had never caught a pass all season long.

Same here with the uncovered TE and HB.

Granted, I got lucky on this next play. This was a bad play call on my part and thankfully lol GLB decided to throw it into double coverage rather then hit the wide open scat FB.

Most of the time though if I leave a receiver uncovered there's a pretty simple reason. Teams never throw to that particular player. That's not gambling, it's just good logic. If a OC decides to throw to those two and they catch a long pass then they deserve it. It's something I do often as an OC by throwing to players typically not covered in most defensive schemes. Other OC's would do good to learn from that play calling style. I might not have the most effective offensive scheme but I'm pretty sure I have one of the most unpredictable. I know I wouldn't want to DC against my O.

I'm now going to have to cover blocking FB's and TE's the next two games lol.

Yeah ... uhm ... DCs have been leaving BTEs & BFBs uncovered for ages, so that's not new. And yes, that is why I would have much rather faced Richey than you guys, because I very much share and admire your desire to have players who can't be ignored like that. Back when I recruited the roster it was a real pain in the ass to try and find a blocking FB who could even catch a wide open pass.
