I'm going to have to go ahead and second this. While I don't think it is the sole reason you guys are still in USA A, if you DO lose again in the playoffs this year, what are you really gaining? player levels get higher, salaries have to increase. if you don't get home game revenue, it's much more difficult to build those extra sections in order to keep up with the rising cost of players.
I know the first season success made teams want to wait to boost, but in this season it's much more about the build of a player and the tactics of a team than it is about that .5 of a level you will be gaining by waiting to boost.
well so far, we've been able to afford all of the equipment but the lvl 24 equipment is going to be dicey. After this season, we'll probably boost at the beginning of the season as the level gain will be too small to make it worthwhile. While we haven't advanced yet, I doubt the waiting to boost had any affect on us winning or losing the conference title game and it will only give us better builds in the long-term.
