Either HD is legit, which I doubt, or the owner of those accounts is really good at covering their tracks.

The 2nd option is true I'm sure. I sent support a message about them and they said that they have extra information about them that we can't see and that they are not multis. This must mean that they have a setup to cover up whatever GLB looks for to check for multis.

The co-worker excuse is a way the owner can explain why all accounts come from the same public IP address. NAT, or Network Address Translation, is a way one public IP address can be shared by a whole company. Thus there is no way for the GLB admins to prove that the accounts are owned by one person, or a bunch of people behind the NAT.

What the GLB admins should do is require every owner on HD to log in at least once from their home PC, which would have a unique public IP address. I highly doubt the owner of the accounts could come up with 55 unique public IP addresses.

Problem with the co-worker excuse is that there's no way in hell you can convince 50+ coworkers to play GLB at work and still have a job... or friends.

True, but GLB can't prove that isn't the case.

You can only make 3 accounts from the same ip after that it locks up and wont allow it.

I was on the team as a DC for a while.

Can't they look at the IP the accounts were created from?

The Admin himself told me that they were all made from one IP as they were all co-workers. Apparently the guy who made them all just PMed support about it after Awsalick discovered them a few seasons ago in silver.

They were happy to 'assume' that Dub J's multi was him and not 'his brother' even though they couldn't prove it. So it seems GLB is happy to make assumptions in some cases but not others.

I just find it funny that none of the 54 coworkers feel compelled to come to his defense. I can see if there were only a few, but 54 of them that either don't read the forum at all, or don't feel the need to chime in? I call bullshit.

GLB has a problem using common sense, this can be seen through all aspects of the game.
