I'm gonna leave this thread alone now, but I think I've made my point. Spindoctor02 made it sound like I torpedo'd Laos's whole season by leaving early. If anything, I torpedo'd Laos's whole season by NOT leaving early.

WL is tough and I don't know what your OL builds and VAs looked like, but if they weren't set up for inside running, offense was going to be tough the first half of this season.

Most of the guys still coordinating up here have been doing it for multiple teams for many seasons. They're pretty good. It just takes a little time to get the hang of it. For most guys breaking in, its at least the 2nd or 3rd season. Hell, this is Wiseman's 6th go around, but he hasn't given up yet.

+1 with October. We just didnīt have the experience to succeed in WL for the first season. Donīt have to blame OC or DC, i'm the guy to blame for not helping the team with recruitment, not giving any advice and being silent all season long due to a crazy work-schedule. And no one said mid-season, it was 2 games ago after we were out of playoff contention. But we talked about it and no need to discuss it outside the team.

Is this like one of those movies where every stands up and accepts the blame?

You left during the season. That's the definition of "mid-season".

Also, there is a difference between telling an owner than you don't think you can cut it and they should look for someone new for the following season, and just removing your GM abilities and sending a PM stating you are done.

One of those ways shows class, the other, well, I'm sure you can fill in the rest.

Oh, Newport sucks as well. They are only here because they were in the easy conference in WEPL last season. If they had been in the real conference, they'd have been out in Round 1.

Eh both conferences were about the same. Rhcp and misfits had been kinda mailing it in. Oslo woulda been newports biggest challenge.

I thought for sure Newport had some winnable games down the stretch for a
straightforward playoff berth.

Crazy they just couldn't get it done.
