Winston was a liability in the passing game, but was an excellent run blocking tackle. And Ryans had virtually no role in Wades defense, i liked him but i think its is better for him to be in a 4-3. We have Cushing in the middle and that is scary enough for any HB to be looking at !

In the NFC I like the Cowboys, and the Bears (Hard to say as a Vikings fan). AFC, I think the Ravens might have one last run in them (Suggs injury hurts though).

Ravens over Cowboys in a defensive struggle.

Yes, Suggs not beng there is huge, but with picking up whats his name from Bama, thats one hell of a replacement. Only thing he lacks is NFL experience. But he is surrounded by a ton of veteren experience

Upshaw is the guy you are thinking of. If him and/or Kindle produce some pass rush the ravens will be fine for sure.

Just his pressence was a threat. I'll bet he does well in Buffalo

if he can stay healthy, he may, but to be injured the last 3 seasons that sure was a lot of money !!!!!

The Cowboys look better on D, but I won't believe it until I see results from an always underperforming team. Every year they're supposed to be great, and every year, they're pedestrian in every way. With three viable playoff teams in the Central (I'm looking at you too, Lions!)and since we have to send someone from the south and west, it'll be hard for three teams from the east to make the playoffs. Giants are great in big games, but they'll have to do better in the regular season. I like the niners defense, but that will only carry them as far as the NFC championship again. I assume they win the west (and if they don't I may have to quit being a fan of theirs), so they have got to focus on health and getting the offense to a watchable level if they wanna win. I'll take the Bucs in the south, not that I think it matters in the grand scheme of things this year.

It's hard to pick against the Patriots because of their track record. Steelers and Ravens are perenials, even though the Ravens may not be much longer. The Texans should win their division. The Broncos will win their division too. The AFC playoffs will look very similar to what they have been for years. Cincinatti will round out the AFC, but I don't think it's their time yet. Give Dalton one more year.

NFC Championship
Bears 23 - 49ers 7
The teams made it here on defense and the running game. No real QB will kill one of these teams eventually. The Bears don't look real great there, but the niners have Alex Smith. 49ers fall to the Bears who don't look overly impressive in this game, but good enough to win.

AFC Championship
Steelers 20 - Ravens 24
The teams beat on each other for an hour, time expires, and everyone looks at the score board to find out that they've been playing a game this whole time. Ravens win dog fight. Fans of old-fashioned, hard-hitting football win even bigger.

Superbowl
Ravens 27 - Bears 17
The Ravens beat up on a Bears team the just hasn't had enough big game experience recently to be prepared for the big show. They don't have a QB that can handle the pass rush and the Ravens keep bringing the pressure.

Sweet write up....and I think its very close. My only excpetion is the Steelers. Steelers are not the same team they were when they won their Super Bowl a few years back. It shows that they are getting old, and Big Ben keeps getting more and more injured. I think they definitley had a wonderfull draft in revamping that O-line, but there gonna need help in the Secondary. Polamalu wont be there forever to make the big play. In all honesty, I think the Colts will be there..............lol..j/k. No I really think Manning will take the Broncos to the Bowl. Could you imagine if Manning has the same kind of luck Tebow did? Always getting that fumble, or that onside kick when you desparateley need it....lol. Only time will tell, and your right about my Cowboys. This season their should be no excuse as they have all the peices to be a solid team. Romo had a fantastic season last year and hopefully that will carry over.

It seems like there are alot of people on the Bears this year. I just dont see it. Their Defense is solid, but I dont think it will be enough. Oddly enough nobody has said a word about the Packers either. I still think they will be their also, just gotta avoid making pivotal mistakes.......like my Cowboys....lol

Maybe next season, without Peyton, you guys will struggle to even win that division.

Saints are my NFC team and i hope they overcome the drama the weenie Commissioner through on them. cant believe they took a team and drove the bus over them. I grew up playing football, never went to play college but went to a pro football camp(rams) and i cant recall a coach ever not wanting to nail the best players of the other team. we used to call it winning the steak dinner. if you knock a player out or take him out of the game you win one. they need to realize that football is a contact sport and people will always take a cheap shot and thats football.

Saints are like a well oiled machine...just put someone behind the wheel and steer, they'll do their thing. Pete Carmichael will do fine running the offense.
Saints new and improved defense will dominate fools under new DC Steve Spagnoulo...and some very good defensive free agent pick ups.

I see the Saints play the girls 2 days before Christmas in Dallas this season.....how would you like your 40 burger?

Merry Christmas from WhoDat Nation!
