Best part was how he gutted Tracy Chimay after we wrecked them so consistently and then had to hide in casual to get away from us. XD

What a loser u bring something up a year ago. Don't worry brother I would go back to regular I just don't have the time. I don't live in my parents basement like you do. So go back to ur hole and ask ur mom to bring u dinner

At least there is some chatter on the league forums. I have no idea if we'll do anything of merit this season but in 3-seasons time, we'll give you guys all you can handle.

I figured I'd look over the teams and try to make a grasp at where we will all finish (sorry boys and girls only doing the Western Conference). Overall, the conference seems fairly strong from top to bottom as numerous teams will be pushing for one of the eight playoff spots. It looks like a strong veteran ownership group for the most part (not a newb but haven't played in several years - not seasons, years). Thought it would be easy but there are several teams with one agent ownership and I'd venture to guess they will all do well (cough cough - at least I hope so since I am one of those teams). Anyway, thought a small write-up would keep the forum going early as many seem to be just flat out bad. As you can see I cheesed my way out of the four through six spots. A lot will depend on cares at this level and it seems it will be high with a lot of one agent owned teams. Should be an interesting season and I'd be surprised if anyone made it through the regular season without a loss.

1. Syracuse Bulldogs - Should be a top notch team as its the same agents as the Charleston Chiefs of Casual Pro (who have done well). I'll throw this out there and get the target on their back - one of the top teams in the West along with Foy in my estimation).

2. The LEGION'S Foy Destroyers - Rebuilding after a rock solid showing in Casual Pro for many seasons. TLFD should be battling for that 1-2 spot with the 'Cuse. It must be noted they didn't get out of the first round the past three seasons so maybe they get some cold feet in the playoffs. Time will tell with the younger dots if that theme holds true.

3. CrossFit Clowns - Two agents with all the dots (one with only two). To me that's a certain advantage as far as builds and setting tactics. I assume they'll boost before the season kicks off and would expect them to compete for a top four spot.

4. Green Bay Maulers - Been away from the game awhile and tried some building with a few positions last season to get my feet wet as the building process is a lot different. I'd be surprised if my team did not finish in the top four to five. While still working out some kinks I think my dots will do alright. Probably my biggest omission was not creating any special teamers - guess we'll see how that plays out through the season.

4A. Oakland Vipers - Another agent will all 55 dots. Hey, it makes recruiting easier. I see the mindset in casual is "rushing QB's." Curious to see how and if the various tactics will be able to slow it down. This is another team that should do well.

4B. Grave Diggers Union - Very solid looking team in the early going. Would not surprise me if the team finish on top when the regular season is all finished up.

7. The NFL 2012 All Pro Selections - One agent with the 55 dots and another with rushing QB's. I do like the solid output of the owner here as he went with zone defenders. Curious how that plays out with younger dots - not sure it will be successful right off the bat but once the builds round out this could be an interesting team down the road. Playoff team for certain.

8. Nevada Hillbillie's - pamitch has already been entertaining on the forums with his little battle with merenoise (keep it up guys - adds to the league). His team should also be entertaining on the field as they look ready to play some dotball. A playoff team - sure. An elite team - no.

--------------------------------------------------------

9. Wornout Bastards - One agent but they only made 49 dots...may as well just make the other six. Oh, a AMEN for not having a rushing QB.

10. Brotherly Love Metro Stars - Doesn't seem overly organized as a few open builds show some odd choices in equipment placement. While they may have a near full roster I don't suspect this team will compete with the top tier teams.

11. Auburn Tigers - Much of the roster is in place with a few holes to fill out. Will fare better than most but you can already count up the losses against the big boys.

12. Aalborg 89'ers - Still recruiting to fill out a lot of CPU positions. Certainly will win a few but not many.

13. Cybertron Autodots - No dots on the roster and another layup for most teams.

14. Bandit Kings - Another auto win.

15. Her Majesty's Dragons - Former Casual Pro team stepping down and with no dots on the roster will be in a bit of trouble. I don't suspect they'll win many games.

16. Bandit Kings - CPU filled roster. They won't be much more than a speed bump on the schedule and a PR's dream.

Finally looking at the other teams I think this season is going to be well worth the price of admission. Kind of figured one or two good teams than CPU filled rosters - good to see some early competition

There you have it - flame away!

I appreciate the write up and thanks for doing it. I just wouldn't base much about our team on the open builds you see.

Powerwingman and I were both on merenoise's LODD team for several, several years. I assure you, most of our team can build quality dots. Most of the open builds are from random signings (hence the 1 year contracts vs those with 3 year deals that will be permanent fixtures on the team) and will likely be replaced in future seasons if they don't shape up. I'm not too worried about this season though.

I'm not boosting so don't expect a ton. Just experimenting with builds as they mature.

Dont worry I am not going to spend alot of time with Merenoise and his nonsense. This team will be in the top 4 though I will guarantee that. Very good staff and I have been around forever and can win in Casual.

I will go out on a limb and say it will come down to Legion's Foy Vs Nevada for the silver trophy

I'll try to keep something going throughout the season - unless someone had planned on doing it. No issues stepping aside.
