Isn't that a bit of a slight to Boendby? For a team with 2 perennial Gold coordinators to lose to them tells me the Championship Game was plenty legit.

Do you really think LE and Gerr care as much as they did in the past? I'm not taking anything away from Boendby but if we were to rewind a few seasons back they would not be winning gold titles. The care level of Pee Wee is dismal now and like I said before its no better now than winning silver leagues back in the day. I wont change my stance on that until you get 12-14 teams in each conference boosting/CEQ again. I hate to say this as well but once Gerr took it upon himself to start boosting guys at the beginning of the season it either forced people to do the same or go home. Pee wee died pretty quickly at least in gold after that.

If I remember correctly Lone Star Boosted before day 1 back in Season 11. Now with the new XP I don't think it was Gerr has anything to do with it.

Not boosting right away made for more competition and also encouraged teams doing well to boost later on that might not have boosted otherwise. Boosting from the get made a lot of people say fuck it.

I agree with you. What I think has been watered down is the regular season and tournament play outside of gold, but the gold playoffs are still as tough as ever, especially after round 1.

And even in the 1st round the Eastern conference playoff games were competitive s27.

17-24
28-10
10-6
and the exception was 49-7

Second round scores went 14-6 and 0-14 in the East. 16-21 and 28-45 in the West.

Seems pretty competitive to me. Not like you can fluke your way through to the Championship game, despite the decline of boosting teams.

I think all the non boosted PW teams play in a tournament with each other and have nothing but great competition. I haven't complained once in the last 2 seasons and have rather enjoyed myself.

As a matter of fact there will be 12 no/no teams in next seasons PW Gold class and some are even better than certain boosted teams.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the NB/NC league, and don't mind that there are a number of No/No teams in Gold. I like many of the owners/coordinators of those teams. My only point was that many of the people pointing out the fact that Gold competition is lacking these days, are the same guys who are causing the lack of competition by not boosting. I also take exception to anyone contending that winning the League Championship is some type of "gimme" now. That is all.

Correct and instead of arguing about lack of competition, lets find a solution to our problem.

Every has complained about the lack of competition but every league remains full of CPU teams and players.

So many negative posts in these threads for the last 6-7 seasons.

I'm fed up trying to explain the lack of interest by this player base.

Let it die and lose the agents like every other MMo.

Add more costs to the casual gamer to run him off and find one of another free to play crap games in the world.

Fact of the matter is if you start losing a player base. Others follow.

As far as I'm concerned the player base has made every single idea that has been implemented to this day.

No offense to you or Gerr at all as I respect both of you a great deal but to prove a point...You guys joined together to make what was supposedly the best team in Pee Wee but you haven't won a championship in these so called "easy" playoffs now and actually got put out in round two in your first season together by 14 points by SOA. Why is that? I don't believe that it is because of lack of care from you two because why would you have joined on with Gerr to not try? and I know Gerr really wants his first championship with his Bears team.

No, Gerr won a championship with TIA but has never won one with his Bears team

Reality is...Pee Wee Gold regular season is a joke where I highly doubt any good boosted team even game-plans but the playoffs beyond round 1 are as good as ever. Unless teams are going to pull the jkid card saying they haven't been trying the past two seasons?

I think there are a TON of people who like pee wee and the build and AI strategy that makes pee wee so fun its just people dont like spending so much money to stay competitive.........Pee wee would thrive without the financial burden

Compared to previous era's in PWG, the current regular season is a fair amount easier due to all the CPU and non-boosting teams. Same goes for the 1st round of the playoffs for the same reasons.

However, come the 2nd round of the playoffs and later, you start to hit the same very good teams that have been in PWG for a long time and I don't see that being any easier than it used to be.
