You eliminate yourself from lack of OC/DC skills....not poor exploits of the sim. Sim is bad regardless.

but the less control someone has to take advantage of the weak points in the sim, the less those weak points come into play.

did you find the first 5 seasons of glb boring? i didn't, i found them teh most fun teh game ever was. casual just brings you back to that era.

fwiw, i didn't touch my offensive tactics all playoffs. i found a balance of short and long passes i liked and just ran with them. you can choose the formations you use, but not the individual plays.
defense i changed a couple of times. first round we were facing a team with only rushing QBs, so i went with 3-4 short zones, with both ILBs spying the QB. 2nd round we were facing a team who can go with rushing or passing QBs, so i took my chances and played 4-3 short/medium zones with no spies. 3rd round i was worried about being beaten by the long ball (which is teh weak point of short/medium zones) so i went with deep man coverage and played a bunch of cover 3. 4th round i went back to no spies short/medium zones because it looked like the team liked to run with their backs. it's not that there/s /nothing/ to do as a coordinator in casual, it's just that you can do it all in a couple of minutes and you know you won't be fucked over by an AI failure (or bug) or some exploit.

you're not the first person who's said that, but it sure didn't for me. i like controlling a team, i like building dots, i like watching dots if it's going to be a close game. i don't like having to slave over an AI or get beaten by the exploit of the season. i understand casual isn't for everyone, but i think it's for some people that don't realize it's for them.

Hey Gart, you've always been a class act.

Glad to see you are having some fun over there. I figured that last season in WL couldn't have been too much fun.

Hey Gart, I just picked up Race For The Galaxy.

I can't decide if I like it more or less than San Juan because of all the bells and whistles they've worked into it.

You and me both, sir.... you and me both.

Race has gotten feature bloated imo.

Tried Eminent Domain some, but think it's getting thin.
