Just looks ridiculous though - whether it balances out the sim shortcomings or not. A QB seems to throw longer passes far more accurately than screens right now, and that makes no sense. If I was a QB, that's how bad I'd be, but I expect better from my little dots!

In conclusion, do people think this is related to the QB-leading-receiver change that was made this season, or has the changelog change from Jan 1st which was meant to fix screen targetting somehow broken them at Peewee level?

Maybe it's tactics related. I've seen some teams have quite a few ugly screen passes and others seem to be almost as they were.

Bad screen passes seem to only happen when a D-Linemen hurries the QB...At least that is what I have noticed

In only one of the examples I posted is the QB noted in the PbP description as being hurried. Couple of other occasions where you could say there was incoming pressure, but several where he is quite safe.

Oh well. It's posted in bugs. Catch has already said he doesn't see an issue despite several people chipping in with examples, and several people noticing a definite change in screen quality, so it will probably be something we have to deal with until the next round of changes, when a screen will not only always be complete, but will be thrown with such a powerful arc that it actually picks up the receiver and flies him to the endzone.

Another weird thing I have noticed is that they almost always throw it high....usually a jumping catch

Something to note is it is always an incomplete pass when the screen is run out of Single Back Trips

If they're messed up,stop using them. They work fine for me,though.

Edit: And I dialled the screen package %s right down for that game, too. They just kept on comin'

From what I have seen it only happens if a screen is thrown from a certain formation.
