Random thought: South Side Mafia is a weird f*cking team...but in a good competitive way, for the most part...Needs to find points and could sneak back into contention....Probably the loser of them/Black Ops in a couple days spells certain demotion death, though...so we'll see....but I could see a run there after a big win vs. Sofia.

Alpha, the top 5 teams at 5-1 and better are sitting very pretty for playoff spots...I don't see any of them falling back to the pack with a 2 game spot on everybody and the way they all have been performing...so it looks like it's going to be a wild ride as the other 3 spots are basically up for grabs by 9 other teams, 8 of which are tied at 3-3....Wow. Can we say "tiebreakers" ladies and gentlemen? Gonna probably need some serious playoff scenarios that will look like a calculus book in the final weeks I'm bettin'...

If you would have bet me that all 3 of Lincoln/Hood/Hali would demote this season, I would have taken that bet and laughed...Funny how that goes....Parity is very good this season.

Comic Book All Stars might have the worst offense in WL history...and that's coming from ME....If you take their defense, though, and put it on a team with Timpanagos' offense, you might have a decent WL team to field from the 0-fer crowd...

And, yes, I am not pleased with my compadres for letting Bort Sanchez's bastard children upend HHWC...HEADS WILL ROLL.

I think Alpha is more open than you think. Looking at Alpine's schedule, even at 5-1 now, I think finishing 10-6 would be a great accomplishment. I wouldn't rule out us finishing something like 7-9 either, or 14-2 for that matter. There are no sure wins in the conference. A team like Hali could easily have been 4-2, instead they are 0-6.

Every team has this issue...so being spotted a 2 game lead is pretty huge from my perspective....cuz it will be very hard to make up that ground by the others...
