i love dvg, it makes people think that having 50 strength is sufficient.

And then we probably should tone down DvG while we're at it, improve zones, tone down quick feet. Then I think we may be on to something as a sim.

When a play is called "often" the play shouldn't be penalized...the D should get a "boost", per say. Call it D audibles, with a higher chance of it being called everytime a play is called. Then when screens are called often we might see some more INT's because a D player will be right there to pick it off...or have the receiver absolutely mobbed.

what's confusing? pass catch/pass deflect roll is fine. The problem is that QBs can't lead WRs ever and CBs with ball hawk almost always close the gap on any pass thrown downfield. WRs shouldn't catch the ball often in blanket coverage. The problem is that blanket coverage is just too damn easy.

Well, you didn't mention anything in your post about leading receivers better. You just said the catch/deflect roll is fine and then proceeded to list off a bunch of things that result in the offense winning a crapload more catch/deflect rolls.

The scores were as much based on what the D did as anything.

this x 1 million. It annoys me to no end that the completion % of a 2 yard pass is hardly any better than that of a 15 yard pass.......and if you're in single coverage and losing it's actually way way way worse.

wow, this would make passing so so overpowered. One of those first fixes would work... two of them and we're back to S15-S17.

edit: drunken fix
