Best record- Hawthorn Headhunters. Undefeated record, and just win somehow.

"somehow"? It's simple, we score more points than the other guy! The Headhunters are getting no respect!

Talk about a heartbreaker. I was right about the Game of the Week... expect it was the Llamas that looked poised to win until Sunshine Coast came back in the 4th Quarter. Hopefully they will meet in the playoffs- at least I would like to see a rematch.

1. Hawthorn Headhunters- Taking it game by game.
2. Suva Hawks- Opened a can of whoopass on some WarChicken. Talk about being burned!
3. Sacred Haven Knights- Now facing the inept WarChickens, and they expect to win.
4. Sunshine Coast Condors- They have 3 really tough teams remaining.
5. Future Llamas of America- Could go 9-7 with their tough remaining schedule.
6. Christchurch Parrots- Could actually go 8-8 and miss out!
7. South Sydney Rabbitohs- Do they have enough talent/good gameplanning to make it? We shall see.
8. Sandersville WarChickens- One embarrasing loss to Suva, maybe another to Sacred Haven?
9. Lincoln Breeze- When the passing attack is on, they have a great chance to win.
10. Nottingham Hoods- So far, are looking vulnerable thanks to that soft early schedule.
11. Berlin Devine Right- They would love to knock off the Headhunters, but chemistry might be an issue.
12. Saipan Storm- They are on the verge of not making it- thanks to Suva.
13. GERMAN WILDDOGS- They still have one week to feel like they have a chance.
14. Redcliff Razamanaz- Only meaningful game left for them this season- against Solomon.
15. Solomon Islands Pack- Only meaningful game left for them this season- against Redcliff
16. Wellington Assassins- They are only good for providing hope and dissipating anger and frustration for every other team in the league.

The Game of the Week comes to us from two winning teams- the #4 Condors and the #6 Parrots. Looking at schedules, the Parrots MUST WIN 3 of their next 4 games or they have a good chance to miss out. I think the Condors are too solid of a team, and they will win.

Ditto... Though the uncanny ratio of interceptions made vs interceptions allowed, which is 30-to-2, helps the notion that somehow things just go our way...

Great game and HUGE win for us v. the Llamas. We've made personnel moves to shore us up for the playoff push and it did hamper our chemistry, but a gutsy with for a team that will only gel and get better! Look out top 3... here we come!

I will be back on later to write up the rest of this post, and for the Game of the Week.

Please ... you're claim of lack of respect hits the floor with a thud when it's one of your own who's writing up the Power Rankings.

Tough game... Sunshine really started racking up points in the 4th quarter. We have got to find a way to shore that up.

Sorry that I haven't posted rankings in awhile. This week has been busy for me. I have to share only one computer with internet with 3 other people, and I haven't been home any night this week. Monday was poker night, Tuesday was helping my friend with his online French class, Wednesday was the Rush concert in Pittsburgh, and Yesterday was Rock Band night with 2 other buds. Tonight will be the Office. Anyway, I have a few moments to do a write-up, and little has changed. The top 5 are assured of making the playoffs and the bottom 5 are officially out.

1. Hawthorn Headhunters- Can they go 16-0? That is the question.
2. Suva Hawks- Keep on rolling.
3. Sacred Haven Knights- it's a shame that they have to face Suva and Fiji Flying Foxes.
4. Sunshine Coast Condors- They made the playoffs, and they must be excited. Their seeding will be determined shortly.
5. Future Llamas of America- They probably have the best chance to beat Hawthorn.
6. South Sydney Rabbitohs- Have the edge with their tie.
7. Sandersville WarChickens- Have the talent, but will they gameplan effectively?
8. Lincoln Breeze- Right on the borderline. They need some help.
9. Christchurch Parrots- Two tough games left, and their morale is low. They look to be doomed...
10. Nottingham Hoods- They need to win out for a chance, but they have Hawthorn next...
11. Berlin Devine Right- I think the jet lag from the commute to and back from Berlin was too much.
12. GERMAN WILDDOGS- Maybe next year.
13. Saipan Storm- Started out well, but fell apart.
14. Solomon Islands Pack- They should stock up on talent for next year NOW!
15. Redcliff Razamanaz- They should stock up on talent and OC/DC Coordinators NOW!
16. Wellington Assassins- I don't think that they warrant any comment about their suckage.

I see a couple of good games, but the biggest one is the Suva Hawks and the Sacred Haven Knights. Both teams are equal in terms of talent, but I have to go with Suva, as their rushing attack is killer and they will force the pass on defense, as their rush defense is up there. I think it will be close, but generally I don't go against Suva.

a bit presumptuous. Fortunately our coordinators take a more positive attitude towards these games.

It's not that I don't think you can win, I know that the Knights are a very well run team and have my respect (as does Suva and Sunshine Coast), but I think Suva will pull it out. They also are very well run, and have a slightly better team in terms of talent. Sure, talent isn't everything, but they put up massive points also.

Good to see the rankings again although Im not sure the Hoods need to win all games to progress to the playoffs. Also, go easy on us. :-D

Well, another Game of the Week that lived up to expectations, and no offense to Sacred Haven, but I was RIGHT HAHA LOL n00bS (I'm just kidding; honestly, who is that immature???). We had a name change- the Christchurch Parrots are now the Jamaican Souljahs. Apparently, Jamaica has drifted to just off the eastern coast of Australia (or at least that potent mary jane they have makes them think that). I don't think I will be posting any more power rankings, but there will be a surprise for week 16.

1. Hawthorn Headhunters- 3 more games, but then what about the playoffs?
2. Suva Hawks- They are going 15-1, no question.
3. Sacred Haven Knights- Losing in the 4th quarter must suck.
4. Sunshine Coast Condors- That sun is shining bright for them.
5. Future Llamas of America- They are Alpha's best chance to beat Hawthorn.
6. South Sydney Rabbitohs- That tie might save their asses.
7. Sandersville WarChickens- Looks like they will sneak in.
8. Lincoln Breeze- They better not cool off, or they will be on the outside looking in.
9. Jamaican Souljahs- Still have an outside chance, but must win out!
10. Nottingham Hoods-
11. Berlin Devine Right-
12. GERMAN WILDDOGS-
13. Saipan Storm-
14. Solomon Islands Pack-
15. Redcliff Razamanaz-
16. Wellington Assassins- Still no comment about their comatose owner, the lack of talent, etc.

I am putting down the final 3 games of the week, in order. This week, I think it will be Hawthorn vs Future Llamas of America. I don't predict my own games (I don't want to give any incentive to the Llamas, not that they don't have plenty already). Week 15 has two MUST SEE GAMES- Suva vs Sunshine Coast and Sandersville vs South Sydney. I think Suva will win, as well as Sandersville. I see Sacred Haven having a big matchup against Fiji Flying Foxes, and I think Sacred Haven can do it!

The final week has Sacred Haven vs. Fiji. To me that is a bomb matchup. One of our best vs. one of Zeta best. It'll be the first chance both divisions get to really size up the other conference.

No worries for Sacred Haven as we'll see Suva again in the playoffs. Since their whole team boosted before our game they've shown all of their cards unlike Sacred Haven.
