Yes they were, if I recall they were 8-8 and the 8th seed...

DA went 10-6 with a 7th seed in the playoffs in S23. But the EAST looks much harder this season, so unless DA can step things up, they will be a bubble team.

DA also had some ridiculously close games and overtime games. If those breaks went in their direction they could have been 13-3, so I wouldn't count them out just yet

I predict OC's will need more than screen plays in their bag of tricks this season to win it all.

Do you math before making statements like that as it's an obvious jab at my TIA team's championship win...

TIA:
% of total plays that were screens = 23%
% of pass plays that were screens = 31%
Screens went 14/19(74%) with an average completion of 3.6 yards.

Ya, those numbers won me the championship...

But as the championship game did show, defenses can be adjusted to shut down screens, so teams will need to find other plays.

Speaking of different plays.....does anybody think GLB will ever add trick plays? hook n ladders.......flea flicker.....fumblerouski's.....boise state's famous circus play?

better then that this game needs some play action... i still dont understand why there is no play action... A simple vision check to see if they can see through the play action... it would be so sick.

that would be stupid and make the game less fun.

this would be very difficult to incorporate into the game, the way they have it set up right now is good. when they add new offensive formations the variety will pick up again

No to both...BORT isn't a good enough coder to make either of those happen in a way that works. He can't even get kickoffs down.

The way BORT codes, a play-action pass would look like everyone on the defense gets 'pump faked' or 'look off' and they'll freeze for a second. Then everyone would be wide open and nobody can stop it. If BORT knew how to do a clean play-action pass, then he'd have fixed the stupidness with pump fakes, etc by now.

Gerr, don't paint the picture like you dont know wtf i'm trying to say
Championship game =
HB or FB Position targeted on 48 plays
TE & WR Targeted 18 Plays

72% of the entire passing game was either a screen or to a player coming out of the backfield. And you've been doing that all season.
