I dont want to quit, I dont want to stop battling in Pee Wee. I want GLB to get better. Most of my agents have quit because of the site, not the team. Like I said, Im at a loss...There is alot of talent and interest in Pee Wee...Dont understand why we get ignored

I hear you, LB. Even now, I still pop in from time to time to see how Crib is doing. The team and the people involved with the team are great, but it's the guys at top and their indifference to PW that resulted in me (and many others) leaving completely.

I still have flex but each time I visit, I go to Crib, IA, Short Bus, etc. and top up their donated flex banks. I have no desire to return to GLB because I don't believe it will ever change. It's still enjoyable to check in on the Gold standings though.

except the plays linked in the other thread or at least the first couple do not represent what you are talking about. At least the implication I got was the issues is with the safeties running directly at the HB/FB and not being able to stop and turn around fast enough so the backs continue on the routes wide open.........which is a different issue then safeties and/or LB pursing to the outside and just running off the field. And in regards to the comment I responded to it doesn't matter either way. Since that has been happening for seasons (at least 5 or 6 too). So to imply that safeties were nerfed recently causing these issues is still a ridiculous statement.

I am not defending Bort or Catch. I am just describing what Pee Wee is and is intended to be. They are crappy dots that makes game planning, positioning, tactics, and builds that much more important. Then making it more of a strategic game. At least that is what all the gold members seem to say.

So again if you want dots that act more like pro league dots or higher dots then you should be asking for one and done leagues at higher levels not bitching about pee wee league being broke. As it is designed any reasonable person should expect some of these challenges from the lower level dots.

But it is good to know that your sole contribution to the discussion is a "STFU".......which obviously provides a lot to the discussion......

I am guessing you have not watched many real games with small children. They do some pretty funny stuff that does not make a whole lot of sense. While maybe not exactly running off the field they do some stuff that is about as equally crazy......

I noticed this while scouting you guys (didnt see this post before now). How much agi do your safeties have? And do you have any sa's in CD? Where do you have eq?

really! thats what your going with. Last time I watched PeeWee football IRL, there wasn't unstoppable WR Slants, Pump Fakes every other play and 300+ passing yardage games.

please save us the EDB - 3 paragraph BFS on how you developed your expert opinion.

Coverages are just stupid. I double team WR1 knowing the slant is coming yet the WR is 10-15 yards wide open. Screens my guys all head for the sidelines ignoring the zones they are suppose to be playing. The previous day the same defenses shut down the same offensive play and progressions consistantly. A bit frustrating.

Well I first must apologize to Jkid for taking his thread astray....sorry man.......felt good to vent though.

Back on topic, I see the same coverage issues with LBs just like the safeties.

I see the FS off more than the SS and I see the LOLB off more than the MLB or Rolb....Not so long ago I saw a complete swap with these poitions. SS was stronger and the LOLB was more solid.

Then again.....back in season 8,9,10,11,12,13,14,etc....I dont recall the FS and Rolb running off the field for a gatorade.

I dont recall this happening during seasons of goal line past....maybe it happened and my memory is failing me...my guess is that the sim has been knobbed, implemented without proper testing, and we are living it..

Yep those plays are like that because people bitched and whined about the passing in the lower leagues. So Bort gave it a boost. And now people bitch about it the other way. The guy can't please everyone.

At what point did I state or imply that I was an expert. It doesn't take an expert to know that HB coverage has been this way for many season and didn't just now happen. But I get it you just like to bitch and complain. That is all you are good for. Especially when you get demoted....LOL

Yeah the running off the screen is a little extreme. Though I don't think that is the real issue. The real issue is just simply over pursing on screens period even when they don't run off the screen. And yes that has been a problem for many seasons. My guess is that way back then there were less screens and the passing game itself was non existent. Once Bort boosted the passing game teams went in that direction more. People now build towards that kind of offense. And they increased the number of screen plays. So I think it has been that way for a while but it has just been exposed more in the last two or so seasons.

There are ways to stop it. I don't know what they are but I have run across teams that stop them for the most part. Do they then expose themselves to other issues. Maybe but that is how it should be. It should be more of a chess match. Where if you do X and they do Y you can get beat up pretty good and vice versa. Then it becomes more about scouting, tendencies, and a little luck with guessing.

If you could build one defense to stop everything this game would become pretty boring.

Well I can honestly say I think it's ok that the Lbs run off the field on screen plays. You see I was asked to play Cb ages ago and I too ran off the field when I saw that big fat ass Lineman and FB running at me head on.

Funny. When I played CB (or FS for that matter) and saw the FB coming to block me I laid his ass out.. That's why I played football. The name of the game for me was Pain! Kickoff team was my favorite.. Full head of steam running into a "blocker" was the best! I get goose bumps thinking about it.

ahh the good ol days. i was the biggest line backer on the field at 6'6 250. i miss it so.

I was the little scrawny kid that played WR. I was a beast at cut blocking though (since i couldn't block anyone the real way)
