2nd season for Canton, but we are very much not new. We've been in the WL 7 out of the 12 seasons it's existed with a 4 season break in there (damn that was much needed).

It's been an ongoing discussion in NiborRis' thread that there are no juggernauts this season, so the first round upsets weren't earth-shattering. E-city, Cincy, and Sofia all have agents with lots of WL experience, while Dallas, Canton, & Hood already proved themselves. Paris & Somalia were the only real new blood in the playoffs and they got to play each other, so we'll see if Paris can beat Sofia after losing by 45 to them last week.


And I'm down for a beer anytime.

It is interesting to see parity, though, especially after periods of dominance by Hali, Valhalla, Blaze (Atlanta Braves of GLB), and HHWC. I'd be curious to hear any guesses as to why we've seen more parity over the last three seasons,

Yeah, but Sofia was here 3 seasons prior to season 20, but they where 6-10 or worse.....

I consider Sofia new blood with back to back 9-7 seasons.

Changing of the guards? More along the lines of changing of the diaper, tbh.

Then by that logic Korb's also new blood, because they demoted as much as Wise Ivan's Hedgehounds, prior to the last few seasons.

good post by the OP, my thinking is that it would have been even more entertaining if he had waited until he had thrown back a few beers but all in all 8/10
