Bah, you've got nothing better to do with your time by the looks of things.

The Hood game for Dallas is important for home seeding. Not saying Hood can't pull something out of the bag, but home games going into the playoffs are important to have.

You need to stop with this.

Teams can talk about an upcoming game. They can not create an individual thread for their team. This thread is fine. If you have a problem with a thread, contact Moderator or Support.

this isn't an upcoming game

I'm totally kidding btw...teams don't make it to the big show without a little luck.

Good game planners put their dots into position to get lucky and do what they can through VAs, AEQ and the sim dynamics to try to tip the dice in their direction.

But at the end of the day, a 4th down conversion into triple coverage, fumbles forced by dots who force one fumble every 3 seasons, missing a 4th and short conversion by inches, a QB tossing a ball into double coverage just before their progression goes to the open man streaking downfield...those are the things that have a huge impact on big games, and there is a hell of a lot of RNG that goes into it.

the real key to winning WL is to be able to account for all that bullshit in your AI and have it not matter..

Unless of course your AEQ and VAs are ridiculously stacked for those situations (maybe not the FF, but the catches). I mean when you've got +30% to throwing/confidence from your QB on one end, +30% to catching/vision on the other, and that's just one VA...you know the result.

It's sort of like the ridiculousness that is +% break block and Shed Block right now. If you recall, +% break block is applied AFTER Shed Block, after everything else. So when you've got uber strength, Shed Block, high weight, etc. with 3 +% break block pieces, you end up with an actually good block breaker. Bort created the ability to create these crazy stacks that basically became the norm on beast dots. We'll see how things changed after S23, my guess is we see more parity across dot performance.

Of course those types of stacks/catches that Lincoln streamlined are pretty much gone already, so Lincoln's late game "heroics" will be much harder to squeak out this season.

Of course. On the other hand, when your opponent gameplans with the intention of keeping you from getting that 30% bonus and the game plan succeeds in that respect, but you still manage to make the play...well, the RNG is feeling generous at the right time.

Also, the General seems to do just fine with 36% break block and 7 in Shed Block

I knew the General was lower strength, definitely a different build than Dino. I just assumed you Technique Man'd it (which Dino doesn't) to make up the difference. Essentially thought the General was roughly the same build as Dino minus 10-15 strength which is instead into agility. Although I knew you only had two break blocks from past convos.

p sure you've seen Dino's build before, but it's 147 strength/86 speed/87 agility/11 Shed Block/42.25% Break Block with a good VA stack for his build.

No Technique Man for the General. But yes, lower strength and higher agility as we've discussed...
