This is the kind of stuff that shouldn't be causing TD's. FS was cover man W/out move HB and no one else.

Cover man without move isn't supposed to mean he won't move the whole play. This actually happens whether it's normal cover man or w/out move. So that's not the issue.

Heck..at one time you can see the FS go the complete opposite direction of the play to his man.

Looked like a missed vision check. Not common at that level, but possible. Does it happen a lot?

Accepted, on my phone now, but will check it out asap.

However, packages do still over rule the playbook, so that might be the issue?

Its set up that way to make it easier to share packages and OAI I believe.

Will check out both issues soon as I get home.

If that's the case, then I have found the problem. This information would be nice to know without having to find out this way.
I never knew that and it is not stated anywhere in the AI or package or playbook information.

This needs to be added for clarity. I'm assuming this is a new addition, because I have always known that once it was out of the active playbook it was no chance of calling the play.

On to my other posted issues then I guess.

Not new, its been that way since packages were introduced.

But its been questioned a few times, most recently when User Owned AI was tested which is the comment I posted previously as its the most upto date reason.

Its always been open to debate which way is best, Playbook would be simpler, but leads to a lot more unknown bugs and far less user control in case of conflicts (results in random play selection)

As you would have to specifically input that play into a package, it was deemed that would follow the user intent more closely.
(As only result is that specifically input by user in package.)

There is a list of warnings/guides to be updated or improved, and I am sure this is on it.

I'm checking your other issue now.

What's the FS waiting for on this one? Waiting for him to make the catch? This is bunkalicious.

Ok a lot of claims made here.....none of them really relate to each other

This plays is WR screen. The HB is not running a route so the FS isn't gonna chase after him. You can argue that he should but the way bort coded things is: 1) check if offensive player runs route, if so follow. 2) if not, next player or zone or blitz.

This is working as intended. If you want to make a suggestion on improving coverage against the WR screen i'm all for it but complaining about it here won't do anything

this could be any number of things and likely was either a juke, quick cut or the WR getting in the way. If you see this happening often in open space post lots of examples and we'll look into it more, but nothing in this play looks too out of the ordinary

To my knowledge blocker avoidance is not really a feature of this game when it comes to calculating a pursuit vector to a ball carrier. Also with the runner right in the thick of things, as a defender it's pretty hard for an AI to come up with a viable solution other than running towards the ball carrier.

this DOES look like an issue. I haven't paid that much attention to things like this but would like to see more examples and create a separate thread for it

these look like build issues. Looks like the MLB was in zone and didn't have enough speed/agility/vision to react in time
FS had to recalculate vector and it didn't look like he had the agility to adjust quickly.

Please next time, create separate threads for issues you believe to be bugs- one for each specific "thing" that is going wrong. Laundry lists aren't the right way to approach things.

Labeling this as likely not a bug as your initial post and thread title revolves around an issue that is not a bug
