Without trying to be rude, your team has no business being in this league. They are 13 levels younger on average. Your team will not enjoy this season and your opponents will not enjoy playing them...it just boggles my mind that they can't get teams in the proper leagues.

Again, this has nothing to do with the talent on your roster or gameplanning as I've never watched one game of yours but just looking at the levels, it's unfair for you all to try and compete. Best case scenario, you'll go 4-12....I would be pretty annoyed if I was an owner of that team as it's an entire waste of a season for my dots and it will only make recruiting the next season even tougher.

Who are you anyway?

I have heard this dog and pony crap before. We have practically owned this league every time we come through and whoever you are will make it no different for us.

They promote the best from the regional pro leagues. In this case its the canton guys whos team was moved up. The issue isnt that they cant get teams in proper leagues, its that they have to many pro leagues. Not all pro leagues are created equal either. We had alot of turnover here in APL so that only leads to having to promote more teams up, many that dont yet belong.

Can't believe what I am about to type, but here goes. Rlurie--you might want to check the credentials of the lads your speaking of. Effective levels, etc. Their team is littered with all time agents and WL pedigree. Your about to catch a wicked case of foot in mouth disease.

So I think my typing isn't coming across as the way I'm trying it to...

I don't mean any disrespect to anyone here....except for the joke above...

I haven't taken a look at effective levels, etc....All I did was look at their avg level and it was 60. I am trying to defend THEM as I don't think it's fair for them to be here. Why in the world would they want to be here and get outmatched week in and week out?

I'm not trying to imply that my team is going to mop the floor with them (although I will never back down to a challenge)....I'm trying to share my feelings as I have been the team usually stuck with others who are much higher in level. My players have shared their dissatisfaction with me and it makes it very tough to keep my agents interested when we are no match.

Who knows, maybe that team is fully aware of what they are doing and wanted to be here and is okay with being outleveled every game.

But on the flip side...I have also been in a league where I was the team that was older and it was no fun for us crushing teams every week because we outmatched them by many levels. It's a very frustrating thing to see each and every season and I just don't see how it can be so difficult to get right.


With all of that being said....I don't care what the effective level is as I really could care less. My team last season had the lowest effective level of any team in Elephant last season and I think we did okay.

we're a little bit different kind of team. we won't be breaking up over a bad season, as we're in it for the long haul. Obviously, expectations are low, and I doubt I can muster much cares to game plan for games, but we'll give people some games. It won't be as brutal as you think. We were actually in a similar boat the last time we came up. We had 25 dots under level 64 at playoff time, and were 7 points away from the WL, lol. But this time, the original team is a little more intact, and the competition isn't lollion. Sad thing is I think we could make the playoffs in Lion.
