Yeah, this QB is pretty legit with both passing and running. I think with the bonus to completing short passes that was implemented two seasons ago, scrambling QBs gained some viability (especially at the higher levels).

How much AGI do you need for cuts like that TB? I noticed your FB and HB were doing that too. I have my HB set to super elusive, and he doesn't even pull that chit

built mine to be a role player . our OC uses him as a rusher some games and a screen passer when he figures a tag will hit. not as impressive EL but the lol bars are close to yours . production seems adequate for my guy I am trying a few things off the beaten path with his build and they seem to be working OK

My guess -- is the QB is trying to avoid a loss on the play, keeping his distance from the MB in the hopes that a receiver comes open. Nobody is able to break free of their coverage so the dude eats the ball.

What!? You are joking right. ONce he eats the ball is when he decides to run backwards. As he was running backward he didn't have the option to throw the ball away or down field. That was a bug. Do your job and fix it.

He has 91 natural AGI and I love running him on super elusive. He makes some really cool cutbacks just like you showed in your replay on Brunell setting up the blocks.

Man I can't wait until Brunell starts breaking tackles like that. Have you been training his carrying? Brunell has no carrying right now so I am assuming thats why he doesn't break more tackles.

Btw, I have a pure rushing QB. I think he's gonna be useless when he gets to the pros, but your guy has a lot of potential based upon how the sim shakes out. I have a feeling that he won't be good enough passing to trust him though (against picks and stuff), but maybe you can come up with a combination that works (or change it up with each game using EQ).

I agree my QB won't be out running many secondray players if they are unblocked in the wl/pros. By then though I am hoping Brunell will be able to break more tackles. If you think 110Speed is enough then I should be more than fine.

As far as passing I won't be using him in obvious passing downs.(3rd longs) So my hope is that teams will have to worry about Brunell running in turn giving him some one on one reads down field. Will he ever be the best passer no but thats not what he is.

Yeah I've been training Carrying. Mostly because I have 8 in Spin (all from AEQ) and I want to maximize the chances that it will kick in. But he does just straight break a tackle without spin every once in a while.

I am not sure that my QB will ever be the thrower that yours is, he will never have more than 50 STR, and his THR and VIS numbers are probably going to end up around 80 raw. Good enough to do a lot of short quick passing with the threat of running the ball. That was my plan anyways.

As far as SPD goes, my guy already has 117 SPD with Equipment all going there, and he can usually be as fast as anyone on the field.
