Satchmo-n-Dizzy built it as a score-based way to predict final standings and look at schedule strength, etc. I'd mave to dig in to see exactly how the formulas work, but basically it takes the score of every game and tries to project out the results of the remaining games.

Right now it predicts Leicester to lose very close games to Bratislava, Charleston, London, and Warsaw and to lose the rest by 12+. It will be interesting to see how accurate it proves to be.

Well you never know, I think the tire Iron will be winning more than one game

Beefrogman where's your mad dancing banana, he was class.

I do agree with the head hunters goin Unbeaten I think they are definitely going to be a promoted team this season, solid last season, outstanding this season.

The banana got old. I spent more time staring into it than any normal man should.
The trippy Tool art will do for now.

For fun...

Predictions from the spreadsheet for tomorrow's games. Predicted margins in parentheses.

Alpha:

Bratislava (-3) over Florida
NISSA (-14) over Charleston
Fehrevar (-1) over Moscow Bears
Krakow (-25) over the Players
Minsk (-88) over Leicester
Moscow Vandals (-24) over London
LBT (-81) over Warsaw
Texas (-11) over Tallaght

Zeta:

St. Petersburg (-8) over Carluke
Chernobyl (-6) over C-Town
Grodno (-10) over Hagenau
Warsaw (-20) over Hat Creek
London (-62) over Longreach
Prague (-3) over Sidney
The Look (-11) over Subotica
Volgograd (-5) over Tricity

All signs point to Fehrevar vs. the Bears as the game of the week in Alpha and Volgograd vs. the resurgent Hares as the game to watch in Zeta. Can Sidney get their first win as only a 3 point underdog? Does Leicester deserve this level of disrespect? We'll just have to wait and see...

With me as their DC, Leicester won't even allow 35.

Hehe, 88 point spread is a tall order, even for Minsk. I don't see LBT scoring 81 points in our next 2 games. Maybe as teams face more quality opponents and fewer blowouts, the program will become more accurate. Still one hell of a program, and very interesting to see what it spits out.

Cheers!

Yeah, folks, remember, the more numbers these algorithms have to work with, the more accurate they will become. So, basically, when the season is over, you can run it and be 100% accurate. Sliding curve until then.

You guys have played some tough games so far. I know St. Petersburg is not underestimating you this week. I believe you could win 6 games.

Plus, this is our revenge game for the 3-0 loss last year in the week when the sim went haywire and nobody could complete a pass.

I remember that lol, a hrd fought defensive battle. Hopefully we'll get another one today

Great game Tricity! We always have close ones. This one was no different. This is shaping up to be a pretty good rivalry, but I hope we don't have to face y'all in the playoffs. I don't want to be on the wrong end of a 1 point game in the postseason.

Nice game Longreach, you have a nice combination with your QB and top WR. And tough D in the redzone.
