How the fuck do you kick a player when he's down so hard that you split his fucking eye open and NOT get thrown out of the fucking game?

Yeah. Auburn said before the game, "Calling Fairley dirty is foolish". Your right, he's the scum of the earth. I have never wished injury upon someone (Tom Brady Exception) but I seriously hope Fairley gets hurt, especially on a late hit, because the way he plays is flat out disgusting.

And if Auburn didn't win that game, it would've been pretty bad. 3 RZ trips, 1 TD out of it all. If it wasn't for that lucky 37 yard run which should've been 5, then in OT Oregon wins.

BTW, they did a nice job faking injury.

+1...fucking fairley is a douche and Newton is a liar/cheater.

I was rooting for oregon but I really wanted a good game, and while that was a good game, I wish it was higher scoring

Odd, I thought it was a pretty bad game. Checking most other message boards, a lot of people agree with me. Pretty boring to watch and both teams looked sloppy. I didn't think either of those teams played like they deserved a national championship.

Either way, congrats Auburn.

I was referring to the defensive play in this game.

Because of the defensive pressure, the offense on both sides looked sloppy and poorly executed....especially considering how highly rated both of these offenses were.

With that in mind, I imagine that many message board posters, and possibly yourself, were unhappy b/c the game did not turn out as they expected....an offensive shootout with nearly 100 pts on the board. Those games are very exciting to watch (i.e. the game I already cited), but I still can appreciate this game for what it was....a battle of two great defenses that were overshadowed by their offenses during the regular season.

He kicked him in the ass, not the face. Dudes helmet didn't fit right, it was the 2nd time it came off. What about the dirty hit he gave Eric Smith right before the retaliation.
Not saying that what he did was ok, I thought he should have been kicked of the team last season, but to call the whole team a bunch of thugs in uniform is harsh.
I think Greg mcelroy would suck a dick if you got it near his face, but calling bama a bunch of faggots in crimson uniforms might be a little harsh.

WAR DAMN EAGLE!

This. Even though I played on the other side of the ball, I always enjoyed defense. I think championship games with scores in the 35+ range are ugly. Both defense's played well and thus I enjoyed the game.

As far as the "thugs" comments, there are probably worse things done by both teams that you don't see, on both sides. So don't try playing the well this team played fair, this team didn't bs. Not to mention you don't hear what is actually being said on the field, which is down right shocking at times. Simply put, it's a sport, your adrenaline is pumping and you're into the game, sometimes you do something stupid that you wouldn't normally in the heat of the moment. Anyone who has played at a high level can tell you a time they did something they regretted later, it doesn't define a person let alone a team. Auburn won, Oregon lost, it is what it is, just a game at the end of the day.

So Fairley got an exception for his 14 games of dirty play? Fairley is a scumbag, final. He goes low on QBs late, he goes for the head when he's got a shot, and he just loves playing dirty.

Auburn and OSU got an exception, Cam Newton and Pryor prove it.

37 days off is why they looked sloppy and then add to that , players are super hyped up for the game = mistakes.

There really needs to be a National Championship playoff system, instead of the money grabbing/making boys club. I would say TCU deserves a chance to play either school and probably had just as much of a chance against either one.

How were we embarrassed? We lost by one point to the National Champs and kicked their ass the whole first half. Which part of that should I be embarrassed about?

Mad? Oh yeh. Mad as hell that those dumbasses had Mark Barron in the game playing with a torn pectoral muscle and cost us a quick strike TD because he couldnt even raise his dam arm to deflect the pass, much less make the tackle. Who the hell gets paid 4 million a year to do stupid shit like that. If I'm mad at anyone because of the Alabama/Auburn game its our own stupid ass coaches, not Auburn. They did what they were coached to do and fought back, nothing to be mad about.

Fairley is being called the dirtiest player in the nation by a hell of a lot more people than me, and that pussy Eric Smith has a history of hitting people from the back and kicking them when theyre down, on and off the field.

Like I said, thugs. Definitely does not define the program as a whole, but the pack mentality for Auburn this season was to try and seriously injure opponents by any means.

And NOBODY is scared of the Gators.........................

I think you completely have me wrong. I'm a B10 guy, I love a good defensive battle, hard hits, and grinding for a 3 yard run. I don't enjoy watching a 50-49 game...to me that's just bad defense and it drives me crazy.

I really didn't see it as a battle of two good defenses by any means. They both played pretty well, especially Auburn's DL, but there was just a lot of sloppy offensive play.

fairley plays at 110% all the time. If dareus played as hard as fairley, bammer might have won a couple more games, but he chose to act like a premadonna along with Julio and Mark. Hince the reason that there was no leadership on bammer this season.
and that came straight from a current bammer player. I would quote him, but I don't want him to get into any trouble for being honest!!!

And you go pull some bullshit articles by Shane from centerpoint off the capstone report to back up your statements

How many Bammers were arrested in 2008???? answer 10 including this one
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3458871
who was selling drugs out of the Bammer football complex
Nice!

all of you haters can shut the fuck up. We won, you didn't. Take your fucking excuses somewhere else and point the finger at yourselves for not beating us!!!!
