Nothing against HHWC but they were a 3 seed and should have lost to Blaze by 30+
3 seed was a product of us holding out for the playoffs as usual. And it worked. I'll trade some reg season losses for gold any day. Valhalla did the same thing in terms of coasting and not showing anything until playoffs. They were just that much better than everybody else back then to where they could coast and still dominate. Not sure that's possible in a conference like Alpha in Season 19
Valhalla and HHWC equal to me for now. Plus for Valhalla, they may have won 5 or 6 if extended plateau was around back then. Negative would be they were so far ahead of everyone else that the competition wasn't hard enough. Plus for HHWC, competition has been much tougher recently since teams know how to build great dots and therefore great game planning is extra important. Negative for HHWC is they only equaled Valhalla, but they can get to 5 or 6 for sure.
HHWC for sure...tbh...the WL wasn't even really good when Valhalla had their run...Lincoln was consistently one of the top teams with really not as great of talent imo. Which is why we would get curb stomped by Blaze/Valhalla.
Not to say Valhalla didn't make competition better tho via alloy opening all his builds tho. He certainly sped up the process of teams catching up to the big boys via that.

Did they really show anything different in the playoffs? I don't think they did. They pretty much coasted through the entire season running the same plays over and over again because they just couldn't be stopped enough to make a difference.

ya blitzing them wasnt even an option because 2 outta 3 times you have a possibility of hitting Yorke...the 3rd down he throws 30 yards to Obrien or Grizz.
