id be interested to see a rematch of MPHD and Lincoln since that game. Taut has always been fairly solid tho with his schemes.

he wins a lot of tackling rolls which pretty much makes him = win at this point.

Thanks for the post.

CRR is a really tough team that gameplans really well. They beat the 2/3 top teams in Zeta, and almost beat the other (last minute FG loss).

I am pretty sure they do not have as good dots as Moose Jaw, Alpine, or Indy. They just plan really well.

If you have dots that will win contested rolls more than they will lose them, you basically need to make sure you don't screw anything up. Part of the reason I'm interested in the MPHD/Blaze game, since I think the Blaze have the offensive talent to win more rolls against the MPHD defense than most teams do. I didn't see any glaring holes when I looked at them and we certainly didn't find any in our game. I think it is going to take some really special offensive dots to make plays against that team.

Was alloy the best DC in the game? He ran about the most boring defenses ever.

Last year's gold game would be a first rounder. Sweet. Very possible which says something about Alpha.

Happy to be in Zeta to put it that way. Alpine wouldn't never make the playoffs in Alpha this season.

no offense to taut, but his DPC schemes are pretty boring (most DCs' are). from what I can tell, he isn't tagging much yet this season and is using the same base set of plays for each game.
his dots are amazing, but that doesn't make him the best in the game

I actually credit Havoc for much of how I view defense for the past 10 seasons. I used to run a much more "creative" set of defenses before I saw how Santiago was able to exploit me much too often.

Also, I agree that the Blaze have the personnel to break down my defense if they chosse to do that today...not sure how much effort dpride will put into the game, I know I had almost zero time to gameplan so it will be a pretty generic that they could certainly punch some holes into.

Same, when I 1st started he walked me through being an OC and a DC, I told him I didn't really want to work with others, and asked him for some help on going about running a team, he definitely helped me more than anyone has, as a matter of fact without his help I likely would have never gotten as into tactics as I did
