Just for some confirmation then, before I potentially waste any points...

If I go ahead and put 4 points on my custom equipment now, I can go and add on another two points when the rest of my referals process?

I don't want to buy +4 Mickey Mouse Giant Gloves of Catching if I can't turn them into +6 later on.

Confirm. Four points now and two more later works just fine, I've done it myself for the same reason.

+6 is max for custom equipment.

Once you reach level 8 you can add a bonus to a special abilities skill line that gives you +1 to that line.

For example if you were a CB your two lines are "Shutdown Corner Abilities" and "Speedster Abilities." One would get +1 to each special ability by adding this on at level 8.

Here's a related question- does training in an attribute get harder if you assign points to it from custom equipment? I.e. if I'm trining strength and getting .42/day, and I then fully equip and cust equip myself to raise my strength by 10, does the training amount/day go down the way it would if I spent skill points on strength?

equipment has no effect on training amounts.

After you hit level 8 and you add +1 to all of your special abilities in one line...

Does that affect the skill point cost of the special abilities after the bonus?

I mean...

If a certain special ability costs 3 skill points to upgrade before the level 8 bonus, will that special ability STILL cost 3 skill points to upgrade AFTER you apply the level 8 bonus (even though the value is different)?

im new to this can somebody tell me how this work do it work now or when football start hit me back

I'm not a dev, but I assume custom equipment has no bearing on the cost of increasing special abilities. Even if it did, you could just unequip it before raising them.

Where's the option to select current custom equipment? When I go to custom equipment I only see that it will let me make a whole new piece.

Yea I see where it is and I have it equipped, will it gain an edit button beside where the equip/remove button is at level 8?

I assume so, but I don't know firsthand. It becomes editable at lvl 8 so there will have to be something.

Well I know people have added 4 points then 2 points, ect. ect. So I would think the edit button or option to select it from the spend flex points is there somewhere.
