I could also average in the coaches poll into the power rankings, BCS style.

I think you're thinking of the Big-Ten. Or Notre Dame. Or..yeah, you're right...the BCS.

The Big-Ten is awesome and definately gets screwed every year because they finish earlier than everyone (which causes a lot of off-time between the last game and the bowl games). I agree with you about Notre Dame, they should be mandated to join a friggin' conference, there basketball team was (Big East).
The BCS is terrible, I think a playoff would satisfy the fans and teams... not to mention I think it would financially benefit the NCAA and the schools as well. I don't even think a "plus one" would be good enough... but it's a step in the right direction.
... WE ARE ...PENN STATE! (Go Big Ten)

Big-Ten blows and is the most boring football. By the way tell your school to make the old man retire(fire). The longer he is there the more he is dragging the program down.

Isn't the Big Ten and their rose bowl contract along with nbc the whole reason the BCS is what it is (and isn't)?

Looks like the game of the week in Zeta Week 5 is Lyon Hippos vs. Death Valley Scorpions. Should be a great battle!
Looks like that will be the game of the week in the league, not just zeta conference. I may have to move my flat-screen HDTV over to the computer desk to watch that one.

Ok so for the coaches poll the owners can send their picks 1-8 to me starting tomorrow after the games and I will post the results on the off day.

Yeah, the Big Ten supports the BCS... I just don't. Joe Pa is not dragging the program down at all, he makes no decisions in respect to offensive or defensive play calling. Do you have any idea what kind of recruiting leverage you have when you're telling kids they'll play for the second most winning coach in NCAA (Single A) history? He doesn't make bad decisions (because he doesn't make any), the student body loves him, he's an icon of the sport and makes countless contributions to the college and community. There's no way he's bringing the program down.

Really? You think no one negatively recruits with "you could play for this coach who is winning now, or that coach who pooped himself"

Everyone uses negative recruiting, it's kind of hard to de-bunk the success of someone of his calibur.

How do we lose to the Hippos yet stay in front of them in the rankings? Weird.
Anyway, great game Hippos, as expected. I tip my hat to your gameplanning.
