The top 16 teams were ranked by two independent sources. I would have listened to yours too would have been glad to do so had you had them in.

Tell you what, after this tournament is over... We'll get the opinions of the 32 owners who were involved in the tournament,if the majority don't want me running it next year I will step aside. I'll be happy to step aside. If it's just you, then the vote will be something like 31-1 or 30-2 29-3. Maybe 20-12. I don't expect to lose. I think most owners are generally happy with what I do... If not, feel free to raise your objections. If I'm running this next season, I'll be happy to address them.
Other than that, I would like all of the bickering and anger about these things.

No, not really.
FWIW, these are heavily skewed to the West because...most of the teams came from the Western division. There were bound to be teams playing each other again.

Who were the independant sources that did the rankings of the top 16? It doesn't look like the Wild Thangs or Bridgetown are the number 1 seed, seems a bit off if the point was to give the top seeds the easiest road is all.

Jblitz's team won the thing last year. To me that's what it takes to be #1. Win it last year, and you get the #1 ranking. That was my decision.

Also gman approved them jblitz approved them and Diablo's only concern with them were that teams that had already played each other would play each other again.

If you disagree with the rankings fine, go out and win the tournament and prove you're the best Casual team. If Bridgetown wins it you think I'm going to lose sleep because I had them a s teh 2nd best team? Or you think i'm going to be mad if the Dots win it as the 4th best team..? The best teams win games.

if you put each team in each group by seed order (which may not be the case)......but if it is....... hmmmmm that would mean you put us, a semifinalist from last season's tournament as a 2nd seed in our group! hmmmmm.... and lower than teams we beat last season .... comfortably..... Now I will admit to entering this season a little sleepy with a lack of much motivation, but this has got my blood flowing a little. Thanks for the wake up call!
