I think in the:

Monowi loses
Moose Jaw wins
Lincoln wins
(Cinci + Alpine you're giving wins)
Scenario, you have 3 playoff spots left. Monowi gets 6th, 7th/8th/9th is MJ/Alpine/Lincoln and decided by points against.

MJ: 517
Alpine: 547
Lincoln: 617

Probably Lincoln still out, but you never know.

And I'm not ready to lock in Alpine as a winner anyways

Well, any 8-7 can get in with a win if 3 other 8-7s lose (and one will in Gunny vs MJ).
It's just very few who have full control over their destiny.

If I'm correct, Monowi is in no matter what because we win pretty much any 9-7 group tiebreak (our only loss is to Lincoln, and we have wins over Gunny's/Alpine/Cincy/Moose Jaw).

But Monowi losing and becomes part of the 9-7 clusterfuck helps Lincoln because it improves their tiebreak because they have a win over Monowi.

Not sure how the exact scenario would work for Lincoln to make the playoffs, but considering we (Monowi) don't have a huge incentive to spend a ton of time gameplanning to beat the Blaze, it's certainly possible they could make it.

Alpine over KG is far far from a sure thing. They can easily beat us.

Yea, who actually controls their destiny besides carthage and monowi? does anyone? doesn't really seem like it. Maybe moosejaw

Sucks for Alpine since two teams they would like to win have little incentive to do so. (Monowi and Osaka)

dpride makes a good point but i'm sure he just made some more carthage enemies (as if adding more at this point matters plus i'm sure he welcomes it)
