The guy was playing against one of the top reciever/qb combos in the league. In that game Tom Brady was held to no throwing TD's and threw 2 INTS, one snagged by Eddie. While he may of gave up some passes to one of the great WR's in the league he was out their making diving tackles and playing great football.

Defense deserves some love every once in awhile and tackles can be a sign of greatness. Dick Butkus used to plant people into the dirt so hard they forgot who they were. Tackles can instill fear. Fear creates greatness. Eddie had 17 shots at greatness and he made the most of em this week. GG and gratz on player of the week.

Nice to see two members of the Tripoli Terror getting some recognition. Good write up again Drake.

Was Butkus a CB? Yeah.. exactly.

Tackles are actually a sign of weakness, PDs/INTs are a much better indicator but you still have take into account how many times they were thrown at.
