_______________________________________________________________________________

1. Turin Thunder
2. Yorktown Generals
3. Rotterdam Cheetahs
4. Venice Romantics
5. Nebraska Blackshirts
6. Hamburg Gangsters
7. Naples Tormentors
8. Newark Nomads
9. Berlin Ch 4 News Team
10. Longhorn Legion
11. Bolderslev Pirates
12. Victoria Assassins
13. Windsor Rebels
14. Cologne Cauchemar
15. Oklahoma Sooners
16. Chrulle Mavericks

* There's a reason for why I have Newark ranked 8th despite being 0-4. Look at how close some of their losses have been...they'll win some games.

LOL good call on Newark being the 8th best team with all their 'close' losses...

I feel that with the changes that have been made to the Victoria Assassins, we could have beat all the teams we have lost to. We will be a surprise team in the playoffs no doubt.

I don't agree with the Newark Nomads being ranked that high either and I'm the owner of the team! I will say this though, the first couple games were played with all computer players with the exception of my QB and RB! We have made some huge strides even though we have lost all of our games thus far! That Venice Romantics team was stacked! I also agree that there is a certain level of advantage to creating your whole team in your own vision! Dog us if you like!

stlsports, do you mind me asking how you come about these rankings? Seems interesting that a team can be ranked number 1 and not had a tough schedule.

As a comparison, I offer up my schedule as team owner of the Hamburg Gangsters.

I've played against the 3rd, 4th, 7th, 9th, 11th and 12th currently ranked teams (standing wise) averaging about 8th place overall with a compined win-loss of 20-16.

On the other hand, Turin has played against 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 13th and 16th in our conference averaging about 11th place (none with current winning records) and an overall combined win-loss of 12-24.

I'm just curious.

And those Turin games were so close to....But you do hold the edge in the all owner team vs all owner team.

Maybe he also kept the player levels in mind. Yours average is deffinately 7, ours, although I haven't done the math, is probably around 10.

Just thought.

You do make an interesting point, my only respone to which would be to look at the common opponent we have had, the naples tormentors. Heres the skinny

Hamburg Gangsters vs Naples Tormentors
score- HG- 28 NT-3
total net yards- HG- 383 NT- 208
passing yards- HG- 98 NT- 149
rushing yards- HG- 285 (damn) NT- 59

Turin Thunder vs Naples Tormentors
score- TT- 44 HG- 0
total net yards- TT- 486.5 HG- 101
passing yards- TT- 105 HG- 95
rushing yards- TT- 381.5 (yikes) HG- 6

None of it really matters now though, all will be decided tomorrow.
