Is it hard to think that HHWC might not be higher than 9?

I'm not going to argue that Alpha is better than Zeta. That would be silly. The big names like Saigon, Gunny, and Blaze are in zeta and those guys is what makes it better in my opinion. Those are the teams nobody wants to play. I think Indy, Cincy, Osaka, Wowi, etc are sick sick teams, but I put Honolulu right in that bunch. So could we end up a 9th seed if you added us to the mix? Sure. Could we also squeeze out a home playoff game? Sure. The point is we are in the bunch in my opinion. Saying we would be the 9th seed is something I would expect from a demoting team trying to legitimize their failure to make the playoffs. Good Luck in your final fun Zeta. Its going to be nasty.

me thinks there are too many teams relying on their reputation to get them to the playoffs, in both confeences. the better teams dont always win...

im straight up looking at the games played. i could care less about reputation.

I mean it depends. Alpine definitely was capable of better and we screwed the pooch a few too many times. Think we have one of the best rosters in GLB, better than teams ahead of us but we probably missed on a key roster spot or two and a aeq or va here. It adds up and when you miss on a few gameplans, bam, you're at 4-6. Still have the talent to go 5 of 6 and maybe squeak in but season 18 roster already has 8additions that are super upgrades so hope to be back. Still a very fun season and 6-10 in wl is infinitely more entertaining than 15-1 in pro

I think most do realize that zeta is a better conference this season. Saigon at the moment i'd favor by 30+ against the top 4 in alpha and blaze is 6-4 but seem way better than the first few games (come playoff time i'd probably favor the blaze to win alpha if they were there). I'm not sure the top 4 of alpha is really better than the 4-8 of zeta. Probably about even. I think the point dpride was making is that while hhwc could definitely make the playoffs, it's not a guarantee while it is one in alpha which i think is fair.

Regardless, it's like this every season. I think most knew zeta was the slightly better conference before the season started just like alpha was last season. Not a huge deal. That's just how the RNG goes. It's not saying the top 4 of alpha are awful

To me, the most intriguing playoff storyline is what the blaze have up their sleeves. They've had some lows but also some dizzying highs
