What S15 Conf Championship game Otega? I dunno what you're talking about... http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=1197777

thx for your review, always a great read!

Zeta is pretty crazy this season. Definitely one of the toughest playoff conferences in the Pros.

We fucking dominated that season... I was really REALLY upset when we lost that game.
16-0 season still got us into WL though

LOL, Otega, I wish I knew. You're right, never since I bought the team in season 5 did we go 0-4 (heck, we almost never lost 4 games in a whole season), and I can assure you it's not because we're not trying to win. While we may not have the best roster we ever had, I am pretty confident that it's not the builds of our players. Which leaves the quality of the GMs, but then again I am the OC and Jam is the DC and so far we always found a way to win, often against stronger teams.

I could blame chemistry, but then how do you explain our defeat against the Sea Hawks who have the same problem and just destroyed us? It's really a puzzle to me. Our roster is not homogeneously filled with lvl-72 guys, but that's true for other teams, too. My only hope is that the guys currently at lvl-72 will stick around for another two seasons and that the others will slowly approach that level, too.

Thanks for the great writeups! We'll be back eventually

nice write up. I am anxiously awaiting our first pro win. Might not come anytime soon unless we get our team on track. I sure hope we can win enough games so that we don't get demoted to AAA.

When was the last time you revamped your AI(s)?

We always gameplan for meaningful games, and the input structure of our AIs is solid IMHO. We're definitely not running the same AI on autopilot over and over again...

I wouldn't expect any less from you guys. The games are usually competitive, fun, and good natured.

I didn't mean that your AI was bad, just that with each new season I always end up creating new DPC plays to compensate for changes in the sim, sometimes replacing plays that had been successful in the past but are not any longer.
