I would have got to it.. but it's nice to get to read them without typing at the same time

If I had only waited a little longer...now I'm committed to it.

I see the Texans as the underdogs here but I'm dedicating this pick to bug03 and the whole team along with my condolences for his recent loss.

Although I appreciate your condolences and understand that we are pretty outleveled in elephant (lolion), we have some of the best young builds I've ever seen and we will surprise you folks. This I guarantee.

But please continue to ignore us as threats.

No surprise here. I easily would have picked you guys for the 2nd (3rd at worst) best team in your conference last season.

Great write up! Although, we're going to have to do something about that 14th ranked spot.

10 out of 16 ain't too bad considering how little I know most of the teams.

Some great last minute wins by Zimbabwe (won with 16 seconds left) and the Bandits (scored winning points just inside 2 minutes).

A lot of movement in the rankings but everything will be shifting a lot the next few games so nothing set in stone here.

WEEK 1 - LION
1 Franchise (1-0) - A dominating start to the season moves the Franchise up the rankings.

2 Wallachia Wamphyri (1-0) - Shut out the Texans for 54 minutes before giving up a FG.

3 Fulham Flying Hellfish (1-0) - Early talk has the Hellfish going far this season and after racking up over 300 rushing yards this week there may be some truth in it.

4 Carthaginian War Elephants (1-0) - Intercepted 4 times. Fumbled twice – neither fumble was lost. And they still came away with a 31 point win.

5 Cagliari Outbreak (1-0) - Over 700 yards of offense. Just dominating.

6 Massawa Redhorns (1-0) - Solid win for the Redhorns as their offense performed extremely well while the defense held the Aces to 7 points.

7 San Francisco Demons (1-0) - The Demons dominated the second half as they put up 38 unanswered points to earn the W.

8 Sahara Storm (1-0) - The passing game really shined for the Storm today with almost 340 yards and 4 TDs. Can the run game make the same strides?

9 West Yorkshire Bandits (1-0) - Down by 6 points with just under 2 minutes remaining in the game and their HB breaks off a 53 yd run for the winning TD.

10 Sun City Undertakers (0-1) - Gored by the Warthogs. Not the way anyone wants to kick off a season.

11 LHC Naked Turtles (0-1) - After leading 7-3 in the first quarter, LHC couldn't put up any more points until the 4th Q when it was too late.

12 Kenya Diggits (0-1) - Absolutely no run support for Kenya in the first game.

13 Uganda Silverbacks (0-1) - Big loss against a dominating team.

14 Zambezi Silverbacks (0-1) - I'm sensing a pattern here. Unfortunately for the Silverbacks, this is not a good week for any Gorillas.

15 IRONTON TANKS (0-1) - Tanked in their first game of the season.

16 Sterling Bulldawgs (0-1) - 27-14 lead at halftime. 34-23 lead at the end of the 3rd. Huge loss with 16 seconds left in the game after Zimbabwe mounted a comeback.

WEEK 1 - ELEPHANT
1 Nairobi Warthogs (1-0) - Gave the Undertakers one hell of a welcoming to the Pros.

2 Guyana Generalissimo's (1-0) - Dominated the Silverbacks for 4 quarters.

3 Sons of Anubis (1-0) - Over 10 ypc average for their run game. Those are some scare numbers against any Pro team.

4 Zimbabwe Rebels (1-0) - 35 seconds left. Rebels down by 4 and just used their final timeout. 1st & 10, QB SACKED. 2nd & 15, 16 seconds left, TD pass to double covered TE.

5 The Dead Presidents (1-0) - Kicked off the season by crushing Ironton.

6 The African Predators (1-0) - A strong running game made it easy for the Predators to put up 34 unanswered points.

7 Angola Blood Diamonds (1-0) - Offensively they did very well but giving up 55 points is something you don't want to make a habit of in their conference.

8 The Black Hand (0-1) - A tough loss that saw TBH lose a 10 point 1st quarter lead. They couldn't find a way to stop Fulham in the second half as both teams took turns scoring. The FG TBH was forced to kick could have been the deciding drive of the game.

9 Kickin Djibouti (0-1) - Djibouti got kicked indeed.

10 Black Sea Sunami (0-1) - BSS played through one hellish game that saw over 1,000 yards of combined offense.

11 Windhoek White Rhinos (0-1) - WWR gets off to a rough start. They took an early lead at the beginning of the 2nd Q but the Outbreak took over from that point on.

12 Ivory Coast Breakers (0-1) - A rough third quarter for ICB. They couldn't get Sahara off the field as the Storm held the ball for almost 11 minutes of the 3rd Q.

13 Wrightstown Tigers (0-1) - First a 2 point loss in preseason and now they go down by 1 point in the last 2 minutes of the game. The Tigers are going to have to find a way to hold on to their late minute leads.

14 Darfur Depopulators (0-1) - Darfur was hanging in there and only down 4 points at the end of the 1st half but they couldn't get anything going their way in the second half.

15 MaRAWK!!o Evil Aces (0-1) - The Aces will need to get more out of their offense if they hope to make a push for the playoffs.

16 Ron's Texans (0-1) - Off to a rough start. Wallachia shut them down on their way to a 51 point win.
