Dead Ed isn't running my defense anymore. I will be doing both again. Not sure if he will still be helping District 13 or not.

We know Dead.Ed has a good defensive setup, but it will be interesting to see how his offense on his SAS team does against other Gold defenses.

As far as the Legends go, Mac wont be doing any type of game planning and may not even have any players on the team. We probably wont be boosting either.(though i've said that before) Just gonna try our best with what we've got and give each team our best.

Can't say I am the biggest fan of them as they are the ONLY coaching staff I have never beaten. I do struggle against other coaching staffs, LE and Ping for example, but at least I beat them at times, but have yet to get a single win against mccollums and the duprae's. Hoping this S17 will be different...

you might of missed your chance, mcollums and i split it until midway in the season when he started doing the majority of the work on both sides of the ball. We both worked on the team but he did more of the final product because he is really good at this game.I would be a fool to not take advice from him and alot of what he does bleeds into everything. I only mention this because he deserves credit for the time he puts in, and i don't think you realize i do alot of work on my team.

This season we are mixing up how our team operates and we are hoping mccollums will be able to kick back with his feet up drinking yuengling. He will still be a major infuence on the surly GOATS, but i believe ddupre79 will be having an expanded roll in the defense.I will still be working on the offense. The surly GOATS will regroup after our loss to CRACKERTOWN and make another serious run for the championship!!!

Not taking anything away from what you did on your team Gruppo, but do you honestly think your team would be as good, or even in Gold, had you not recruited mccollums and the duprae's? Or would you still be in Gold had they left when you got to Gold? Not trying to insult you, but I just don't think so, and no one will never know because you are a good student and probably have really learned their system well enough to run it successfully on your own even if they did leave you.

That's one thing I can honestly be proud of, my offensive and defensive systems are 100% my own creation and no Gold owner/coach has ever added to it. Granted I frequently bounce ideas off my coaches and GM's and have worked some of their advice into my system, but it's still my own creation. I even had LE on my team for 2 games when in Silver and he installed his OAI, but I was so focused on working on my defense, I never bothered to take a good look at his OAI and he removed it shortly after I won that championship, so I had a chance and didn't take it.

Not saying lower level teams shouldn't get Gold talent help, but only as a learning experience, not a way to get them to Gold. Not saying that's what you did Gruppo, but other teams have done just that and when the Gold talent leaves once they reach Gold, they just are not ready for this level and don't do well. Any team I have ever taught my defense to only got a scaled down version of my defense and I pushed those owners to change it to suit their needs and play style and help them think about how to fix holes rather than fix them for that owner. I taught them to be a DC, not how to run my defensive system.

Basically I think Gold talent coaches should teach Copper and Silver teams how to be a good OC and/or DC rather than just teach them how to run a tweaked copy of their own proven system. Ya it's idealistic and many people prefer the quick way to success, but I have a lot more respect for those who got here on their own and were successful here.

The only thing I have ever done for the Goats, is build some players, period. But, if what you are saying is, that I am a genius dot builder, then thank you.

I don't know what you do, but you, dduprae79, and mccollums have been on the Western Conference champion team the past 4 seasons and have 2 Gold titles as well, all on 3 separate teams! I don't believe that is a coincidence, you 3 are doing something right and must play at least a decent role in those team's success. Gruppo is lucky to have learned from some very good coaches in you 3.

All of us have been successful on our own. All of us made it to Gold without the other, I think. I honestly didnt do anything last season but build some players. There is really only one common link between the four of us and thats McCollums. The guys good and where every he goes teams win. I have taught Gruppo nothing and even without the three of us he'd still be a top tier Gold team.

I hear the theme from 'jaws' in the background.....

Word on the street is that MC is taking a step back this season..that spells disaster for a couple teams... is the rumors true Scott?
