The Gurupies are not ones to usually talk smack or beat our chest--though we've had to do it a couple times to shut up some constant smack talkers. But we just like to have fun and enjoy the game. The sim change this season threw us for a little bit. It takes so long to change builds when the game is changed--but fortunately, we've started to adapt and win a few games. It's amazing how much poo is flung at you when you don't win all the time, but we've never said we were the greatest anyhow. Just trying to compete. Hell we even had a guy we cut come back and post crap on us saying he's glad he left cuz we stink and he landed in AA.

People that don't know us because we don't beat our chest never have given us much props. No one expected us to make the playoffs last season and dpride predicted us to finish dead last. Then when they beat us 87-83, they somehow screwed something up. We've taken our lumps this season. Our chem was bad to start out. The sim change wasn't caught cuz we don't do a lot of work in the preseason because of all of the changes being made to the game otherwise. We've had an agent leak our game plans to our competition and we've had small tweaks to things each game to get where we are now. We're still not where we want to be--but it's time to go with what you have.

I've said all season that the Blaze is the best team in GLB on their builds alone. They have their 72 and most of our guys are 71s. But they also have mostly decline and we don't have many. The lvl 74s def trump our 71s even with decline so we're going to have to beat them in other ways. It's going to be really tough. Not sure it can be done, but I'd also be surprised if it was a blowout. I guess nothing should be surprising with the morale spiral of GLB. Blaze also have the home field nachos and we didn't put much into the away morale like we should have so we're down there too.

No matter what happens, we are going to be really good next season. Then again, who knows what the sim has in store???

It'll be just as much fun if they lose. Either in a blowout or a close game with questionable AI or something along those line hehe.
