I'm the owner of the other team, and I know that isn't what he meant.
I've been the other team in the game where you put up a ton more yards all over and still lost. It hurts a lot. They pointed out where they performed worst, explained why, and then explained how they hope to improve upon it. I don't hold it against them at all.

They'll make adjustment next game, and we'll move on. Nobody will remember this game by Friday, so I'm not going to harp on it.

No, they really did mean it the way it sounded, they've done this with every loss and tie game they've ever had.

I think he works as a diplomat or school principle.

It's not this game that Dragoon is angry about the Bolts reaction. But it may be a boiling point.

Heh, I think we (e.g. Farkistan) are too used to Cybernations, where being a jerk on the forums can mean your nation gets stomped into the ground (unless you're a member of one of the power alliances, that is).

However, just because there aren't any repercussions for the way you post on the boards doesn't mean I'd actually advocate acting like a jerk.

Lord I was about to get all over you about the cybernations jerk thing until you mentioned "powerful" alliances were an exception >_>
Goddamn do I despise and regret ever playing that game.

Well, I don't know his reputation for handling losses. I try to assume the best about everyone until proven otherwise.

I love the diplomat or school principal comment.. I literally spit beer on my keyboard.

I try to be a good owner and polite to all other owners. Other than the owner of the Gary Gangstaz (Now Belgrade Blackhand) I find almost everyone on this site to be very agreeable and reasonable.

Well, except over in the Free For All forum. Ugh. Those guys are asshats.

To be honest, about 75% of users here are either trolls or dumbasses. Luckily, alot of the other 25% is in our conference.

Where on earth did that come from. I had congradulated the squirrels for a good game and mentioned that their solid special teams play was difference in the game. In no way was I whining about losing. Just statimg what i thought the difference in the game was Yes it sucks and the game could have gone the other way, but it didn't.

As with the tie you mentioned I believe my comment last season was I had made some bad tactical chooses in that game and underestamated your team. Which is far from whining and more like taking the blame for the loss on the coaching staff.

The fact is the squirrels beat us and now I have to make adjustments.

As for the other four losses we had last season I don't recall "whining" about any of them.

Sins. I was happy to get 3 points
Monkeys they are just Evil Good
Bengals. They had our number in the playoffs
wildcats were much better than us
pewnts. Heck they beat everyone expect the monkeys.

Sure I might have thrown some sarcasm out about getting lucky enough to play the Sins. It was Sarcasm

As for Jpowers comments I support my player in his statement that starters on special team is doesnt happen in the NFL. But if the sim let's you do it than my hats off to you and it is my bad for not scouting the team properly. Another learning experience for the coaching staff

I think there are a lot of teams out there play their starters on special teams, but a lot of us don't either. ST burns a lot of energy, but if the team has invested a lot of points in stamina, then it's to their benefit to put starters on SP. Let's put it this way, their special team play is better, but their offense and defense might suffer due to the loss of energy on special teams. But if their starters help them gain a big edge on special teams, hats off to them, that's good planning.

As for the NFL, the reason most teams use backups on special teams is to avoid risk of injury to their starters. Remember Jason Seahorn several seasons ago? If NFL is injury free like GLB, I'm sure you would see a lot of starters playing on special teams.

Why did you have to pick a white cornerback for your example.

Because he blew his knees out in a preseason game returning a kick off, and missed the rest of the season. At the time the coach took a ton of heat for 1) putting a starter on special team. 2) putting a starter in there in a preseason game.

The situation fits the example, not the color, he could had been red, blue or purple and I would have still used this example.
