All DLmen set to run focus, CBs set to pass?

The thing that sucks about setting anyone to FF is that way too often the O recovers the fumble anyway. Going for the int can kill ya on DBs, but it seems to pay off more, IMO.

Everyone has a right to their own beliefs/feelings...here's mine on the subject:

A) Those that go to great lengths to proclaim their greatness typically are revealing insecurity issues
B) If one really is so spectacular, they have no need to rent billboard space to show everyone
C) I've always sort of preferred to act like I've been there before and, though not taken for granted, it isn't some spectacular or wildly unexpected feat, either.
D) Humility is a virtue...And, every time one starts truly believing they are the shit, something eventually rubs that shit in their face
E) I appreciate manners and showing some class. Unfortunately, they are becoming lost arts in this world.
F) No matter how seriously most of us take it, this is still a silly game with dots simulating FB players. I see no need to start threads or go into everyone else's in an attempt to ruin their game playing experience. Doing so on occasion for fun, sure...Making it a life long goal, well, I find that rather sad and incredibly pathetic.

Hope you were able to gather some life lessons from that

I am... hang on, let me check that again.... "trying to ruin it for most?" Hm. Not sure I'd go with that. But for the sake of forum-ruining, let's say you're right. I am making the conscious effort to ruin this for people. Let's do a choose-your-own-adventure on this:

I have no desire to turn the forums into "what I want them to be." Have I EVER went into the leg sweep thread and tried talking serious dotball? Have I ever went into that thread and tried to shit on you or anyone else's fun there? I'm p damn sure I haven't. Hell, even in the "Cobra Kai locks up Nachos throughout the Playoffs," the worst I did was critique Velveeta as a cheese. It is exceptionally rare that I go into any of the "Look at us" threads and try to derail them at all. Some find them amusing/fun and I believe they are entitled to it. My closing advice to you would be to look in the mirror and then ask yourself who it really is that's trying WAY to damn hard to turn the VAST majority of threads here into what they want the forums to be. The answer is there, but I doubt you'll allow yourself to see it.

And the only thing you see as constituting "ruining a forum" is people running around like rampant idiots, hijacking threads and generally toeing the line of getting banned. And that is what many would just call "blowing off steam." But if the forums were free of this kind of stuff... if the tl;dr rules were followed to the letter (and there's a lot of 'em) of the law (lots of those, too), then the forums would be ruined for a lot of other people because of the absence of what you see as the bane of forum existence.

What did I do here? You mentioned how you are now one of "the cool kids" because you've got your first hypethread. You said it jokingly. I joked along with a line about how you'll never be as cool as the coolest kids. All in the same vein as your comment. Now... does Cobra Kai have some negative equity that will make a throwaway line like that come across as inflammatory? Weeeellllllllllll..... I could see how a small fraction of a minority of people *might* feel that way. But for one small line to lead to this treatise on forum conduct... that's not a little over-reactionary? Now, if the dojo stormed the thread and took over en masse, then I'd see your point. One line that plays off of a stereotype... basically Cobra Kai being a caricature of Cobra Kai.... don't see the huge deal of it.

To sum up: I don't "try" to ruin anything for anyone. I just have Internet Tourette's. Something comes into my head, and I don't have a filter in place to not type it. It's a condition. I'll get back on my meds if it will make things easier on you.
