I know, that game was intense all the way through.

St Petersburg could really be a force, but i feel they kinda live and die by the play of their star DE, i mean he single handedly screwed our offense gameplan pretty much all day!!

If that were true, then why did we lose in his best game of the year?

For those who are wondering, he had 16 Tkl, 10 TFL, 5 Hry, 1 Sck

We still have some big tests ahead of us, and I'm waiting for the odd upset.

We know what teams we have to be worried about, and we know what teams we can be flexible on. If these advanced tactics kick in mid season though, it will almost be a wash as people will be playing a brand new type of ball.

Our eyes are on the playoffs either way, I won't go so far as to say that just getting there will make me happy...but it will be a testament to the effort my boys are putting in.

Minsk is the strongest team in the league. We should be about 10th. We've just gotten lucky at this point, really, that's all it's been.

Krakow would probabley drop 50 on us tomorrow, without boosting.

Those are the 2 teams to beat, pay no attention to us. We're pretenders this year.

I'd be quite confident of beating the Bengal Tigers right now, never mind before we finish boosting...

I'm keeping Krakow on the side at the moment because while I think you guys are capable, I don't think you've been tested as much as LBT was last year. AAA2 is tough, especially the Alpha division (the Smoke Stacks are 1-2) and LBT learned from one of the best divisions in GLB so I have to give them the edge. If your boosting strategy pays off, more power to you.

Hat Creek Cattle Company was there too (as Nashville Nobles) 3-0 now too.

I don't think so. Their "star" DE is just a pawn in their big defensive chessboard.

Every team we play gets scouted and game planned thoroughly but we'll be doing over time w/ the Bengal Tigers. We don't need any validation from anyone. We know what we're capable of. But crowning the Tigers after we soundly beat the Cows (boosted or not), kinda pisses us off. The last thing this league wants is a team of pissed off Ninjas.

You're a sound team on paper and your coaching staff knows that they're doing. It's gonna be an epic battle.

your o line is deep. i like that. gonna watch every play to see your substitution habits for your line or you can save me some time and just tell me if you have a rotation based on stamina or you purposely rotate your players to wear out opposing defenses.

hmmm??? lol

I watched Minsk drop some really important games last year. Mathematically speaking you've always been a top 10 team, but until you *do* win the important games, you'll almost always be lumped with the London Head Hunters and Tricity Hares. Granted, LBT has yet to really prove anything as well (the Enthroners win was decisive but it's just 1 game) but the season-long GLB clinic they had to endure last year is hard to ignore. I'll be eagerly awaiting the LBT and Minsk matchup, don't you doubt.

Also keep in mind that I'm an outside observer and I don't let the rankings or my personal feelings dictate where a team falls in scheme of things. I just call them as I see them and right now, I'm favoring an LBT and Warsaw matchup. That could easily change by this time next week. After all, no one really gave the Giants a chance at beating the Patriots but that didn't stop them from doing it.
