It's unromantic to be unromantic. Levels aren't everything. *kiss kiss*

he/she speaks! good game. you won a good matchup. i hope we get a chance at revenge in the playoffs.

Hey Argos, did you check out the butt-whipping the Tormentors handed out to the Mavs?

I've been around but no one ever gave me a reason to talk shit until you said that you would runaway with it. It's she by the way, I have the boobs to prove it. Although some men have bigger boobs than me so I'm not sure if that proves anything.

hence the reason no one wants to do the predictions...for fear of being wrong...and does anyone REALLY expect me to do predictions and vote against my team

Rotterdam is reeling after a close loss to Hamburg and looks to even the score against the blackshirts. I gotta back my Big 12 mates in this one as the Blackshirts prove too strong for the Cheetahs sending them to their second straight loss.

Hate to disappoint but the Cheetahs were victorious!

Props to the Cheetahs, you have us regrouping for sure. The loss was not totally shocking but the beating was. We hope for a chance to reverse that at season end!

Well, last weeks games didn't do me any justice as the Romantics pulled off the upset...looks like I chose the wrong upset of the week game

Anyhow, away we go :

The Longhorns sat on their laurels thinking the Romantics were a cakewalk last week, and got upset. No such mistake this week as they pull out the whipping stick and take Windsor to the woodshed. Horns have it sealed up by the 3rd quarter.

Turin keeps thier roll on by dropping the duece on the Mavs. Mavs have little heart and what they do have is bout to get stomped on. Turin cakewalks to 5 - 0.

The Romantics with the easy draw this week are looking for some respect. Newark will respect Cupid's arrow and fall in love with losing as they drop to 0 - 5 on the season.

Rotterdam, fresh off a thumping of the Blackshirts, looks to continue rolling as they take on Y.A. Tittle's Cauchemars...AGAIN WTF IS A CAUCHEMAR?!?!!?. Until I find out, I can't see them winning. Rotterdam wins walking away in this matchup.

Well, the News boys haven't exactly shown what they are made of this year, but will have a chance to deliver some exciting News. A win as they put the whompum on the Sooners. Circle the wagons, you will be playing defense all day.

The Blackshirts and the Assassins clash heads in what looks to be the toughest call of the week. The Blackshirts clearly have the better team, but simply haven't played up to their billing. They show us a little of what's to come as they score a nice victory over the Assassins to get back to a winning record.

***Upset Special***
The Pirates are still trying to avoid Davy Jones's locker and keep this season's hopes alive. They eek out a close one in the fourth quarter over the Tormentors.

***Game of the Week***
Yorktown is rolling, and Hamburg hasn't slowed. Who will win the battle of wills? I have bet against the Gangsters twice...third time's a charm. Yorktown reps Hamburgs block and takes over as the new kings of the south side.

Last week :
4-4
Season :
8-8

Week 8 Predictions

After a brief MIA stint, I am back with a few predictions for today's games. Some big games are on the schedule, so let's get right to the action.

Well, the Legion hasn't performed to expectations this year and are looking to prove a point. In a good matchup against a better than advertised Generals team, the Horns stampede for the win. Horns make it two in a row.

The News Team has been looking to string together a couple of wins all season. After getting the layup matchup against the Mavericks last week, they draw another cakewalk with the Rebels this week. Ch 4 stretches streak to 2.

The Gangsters, coming off a tough loss to the Thunder will look to regroup against the Sooners. There is no Boom in the Sooners and their win streak ends at 2. Gangsters with the easy win.

The Pirates have been searching for some booty all year, and finally get some action against the woeful Mavericks. Will the Mavs win a game all season? Sources say team turmoil abounds and the Mavs will be lucky to show up for a game. Pirates with the win.

In the toilet bowl for the week, the Cookamonga Crapmars take on the Nipples Titmentors for bragging rights as best of the worst. The Titmentors struggle late and Cookamonga comes away with the steal. Cookamonga back on track.

In one of this weeks biggest matchups, the Romantics would LOVE to catch the Cheetahs in thier trap. While the starting lineup of the Cheetahs have the upperhand, the Romantics have too much depth and one helluva field goal kicker. Romantics in a closer than expected matchup.

***Game of the Week***
***Upset Special of the Week***
So, with such a big matchup on board, I had a tough time calling this one. The Thunder haven't let anyone sniff the win column against them, and the Blackshirts are on fire. The Thunder finally stumble as the Blackshirt D gives a heroic effort to come away with the win.

Last Week :
7-1
Season :
15 - 9
