I am on the road this week for work, but once, I get back in town on Friday I will get an OC and DC award drawn up as well. Also, I tried (see pasted email below):

I'm sorry, at this point there isn't a way to add in a mvp or coaching awards. Some day in the future we my expand into this.

To whom it may concern:
I have just a quick question. I am familiar with the seasonal awards for key positions and stats. However, many leagues also take part in voting for MVPs at positions as well as an overall league MVP.
Oceania AA #1 formerly Ociania A) is no different. For the first two seasons, we have just done voting and announced the winners (more or less for bragging rights). However, for season three I have gone ahead and generated some jpg awards that the winners can use for their avatars/player profile images.
My question is if moderators can upload these awards onto the awards pages for those players who are voted in as MVPs? I know it might be difficult to do and also there is the issue of if one league does it, it would have to be streamlined across the board for all leagues (which can be time consuming). But it would be nice to see who received MVP awards each season by their own league peers.
If you are curious of the awards: I have uploaded two sample images to photobucket:

My plan is to add in the players name to each individual award upon the completion of voting. Whether they can be included on the awards page or not: I will respect your decision, and appreciate your taking the time to answer this.

Tally great work. I was just wondering (hoping) you would lay out the voting system that we ALL will follow. I know last year there were a lot of disagreements on voting for All-Pro's.

Thanks Captain Obvious. You can only judge based on what they do, which is what I listed. FB's can have one of two roles...a blocker or a power runner, or even both. Pancakes are important when blocking. What's important for a power running FB? YPC, Broken Tackles, TD's, First Downs (like 3rd and short), broken tackles to get those FD's and TD's. It's really not that hard.

A little further into the season, I'll generate a thread for discussing/plugging of players for the awards. About 1 or 2 games after that I'll open up a voting thread as well. This way we can keep the vote thread and discussion seperate. Once you vote, feel free to edit your original vote message if you decide to make any changes to your original vote. This will make it easier to count up the final votes from each person. But, I'll make it a little clearer when the thread opens.
As for the positions, I leave how you vote for each position up to the individual. Just like in RL you have people who merely vote based on player popularity, others vote on skill/experience, and others go by the season stats. In my view: to limit what you are using to vote for each position would actually hinder the voting process. But, thats JMHO.

I dunno about that there's a fullback on the Nightmare called Gene Parmesan who might have something to say about that

How about a Captain Crunch trophy, it's the only trophy I could win because I don't think I could win a HB award even with this great season.

What about a seperate "Shutdown Corner" Award. I know my CB doesnt get the stats because they've only thrown his way 13 times this year through 7 games. Of those 13 he's deflected 11, Intercepted 1 and allowed 1 completion and even then he was covering the WR, the TE and the Fb in the flats. This may hard to track, but we could nominate one per team and then narrow it down. It may not be my guy who gets it, but i know there are other CB's out there who are good at shutting thier side of the ball down(including run stopping) but wont ever see an award. Champ Bailey is considered one of the best CB's of all time and his stats will never show it. Just an idea.

Oh god, not this discussion again
We do not have the stats we need to prove this kind of stuff at this point. We would have to watch every single play of every single game to see how many times the corner has been thrown to, how many of those passes were caught, etc. I don't think there will be a need for a separate trophy when we get these stats -- you'll just vote for who you think is the best. Plus, there's still the argument I made last year -- is it fair to penalize the players on teams with good corners all around? People have to pass somewhere and all. Not to mention, teams that get ahead early will have all of their corners getting tons of passes tossed their way due to the catch-up AI.
No offense intended at all to Papeete, since I think you all are cool guys, but you really haven't blown anyone out this year, so there will be less passes in general thrown your way. Teams that get ahead early will have more passes thrown against them.
