Good luck Tito. The crap part is that the owner gets to leave the team with his players, which is just a golden parachute for him. The owners players should be left at the discretion of the new owner, just like all the remaining players.

Pac-boy it's nothing personal, but it just seems you left the team high and dry when you could of at least assisted the new owner with battling against relegation.

Looks like Tito is having a fire sale anywase, and Pac-boy didnt gut the team at all before he left aside from releasing a few of his players... he did however leave the team in great finacial shape as well as left a bulk of the roster. Sounds like Tito is trying to get relegated based off of some of his posts on the main forum...

thankyou for some support i do wish him the best, maybe hes right getting relegated with a season of levelling up, try and sign loads of level ones with promise of playing time

I think what Tito is doing is worse than what Pac Boy done. I had a player there and the guy came into the forum asking who wants cut...i tried rallying the players round to help him out and see if we could all unite and make a go of it and all the while im doing this and even coming up with ideas on the new team name he is negotiating a trade for my player that i did not even want...if i knew he was going to trade me i would have picked a team for myself.

Tito obviously had this well planned out but coming onto forums and trying to come across as if he was hard done by is a disgrace. He is classless personified.

true we shud have give longer but it was the latest time we cud get near a computer and we didnt want to wait an entire day longer, give the new guy as much time as possible, guess that didnt work out.

As a new member of the Crues what exactly was Tito supposed to do with upwards of 75% of the team demanding to be released? If anything it's a fault of the game system at large here and Tito is doing the best he can in the situation.

Enjoy your new team wherever you are but taking shots at someone who allowed you to move on isn't exactly classy in itself.

Get your facts right Calderone....i did not ask to be traded...i was traded and not even told!! I was on the forums (and now you have access to them go looking) trying to get everyone to stay together even trying to think of names to rename the team to. I tried to persuade all the team not to want to leave and to help Tito give it a go and what did i get in return ?..Traded !! Not even a quick email saying im sorry but ive decided to bring in loads of low level players and im going to have to trade you. That would have at least been classy. What he did to me was far from it! No point in crying when most of the team wants to go if he trades those that dont!

Now go and check those forums for yourself and then tell me im paranoid!

YES. Especially in the case of Stumaloo. I admitted it on the main forums and I'll admit it here.

Did many of the players (especially the bigger players) want to leave the team?
YES. Yes they did. A good number said so on the team forums. Others PM'd me. Others just took it upon themselves to approach other teams and then have them send me trade offers.

Did I randomly trade them ALL away?
NO. No I didn't. Most of them picked where they wanted to go. What I refused to do was release them (as many of them wanted).

Could I have reasonably turned the team around and won more than 2-4 games this season?
NO. No I could not. This is a team that was losing by 35 points and couldn't score BEFORE the previous owner took the QB and HB off the team.

Stumaloo, if you want an apology. You can have it. I did you wrong. If you want me to feel bad about what I did overall, its not gonna happen.

I took a mediocre team and invested in its future rather than its present. I doubt I could have bought enough players to win this year. I doubt that most of the roster would have remained with me long enough to see the turnaround through. I made the best decision (economic and football) that I could based on the information I had in front of me.

I'd rather lose with MY people and have them content, than lose with the hand I was dealt and have my players constantly question me and beg to be released.

I appreciate your apology Tito and i really mean that. As im sure you can understand i felt very betrayed and having read your post i more understand the situation you were faced with...i suppose i thought if you did that to me you must have done it to someone else also. I suppose im sad im not there in the trenches helping you out because thats where i wanted to be.

Also i still think the Belfast Titans is a good name and dont mind if you use it .

Everything you said was fine. I deserved (most of) it. Honestly, the whole decision was based on "could the 3,000,000 I had buy me the 20 level 16-20 players the team needed."

The answer is no it couldn't.

I'd be more than happy to have you back at some point in the future, you really were a good and honourable player.

Last point. For the record, I had about 10 trade offers waiting for me the first time I logged into glb after acquiring the team. Some of them even indicated that "agreements had been reached with players that wanted to leave the team." Its a shame that tampering is legal in GLB...

Pac-boy, I don't fault you for anything. You honestly left me in a good situation. There's a reasonable chance I'll end the season with 10,500,000 or more. Its not that you left the team in much worse shape than it was in when you owned it (I think). The players were just demoralized and wanted to leave. They had no faith in me (they wouldn't have had faith in ANY new owner). The free agents needed for a quick fix weren't available or affordable. Thats not your fault. I wish you well. I wish the former players well.

On to the current Crues...

The new Crues are developing rapidly. There has been ZERO whining on the team forums. The few players still around from your regime all seem happy, some of them very happy. They actually got bonuses from me so they could purchase level 8 equipment upgrades. About time too, they were only level 10 and 12 at the time.
