That's a tough play to stop with the all crossing routes in singleback. I was hoping the guys could get off their blocks.. We knew it was coming but we underestimated the speed of the backs.. Singleback is impossible to defend , you have to pick your poison and as LE said with offense.. same with defense.. you have to hope for the best.

Besides a few mistakes, I think we defended pretty well. Not giving up our #1 defense crown.. I think we still can claim that.

Besides the initial disappointment about 4th quarter under 2min AI.. this season was a blast. I'm a little nervous about next season because I"m picturing 5 receivers running down the field doing catch fakes... lol

GG to LE, DDuP, and their GM's. Helluva game to watch, the last few minutes were really awesome. I imagine both teams have a few plays they'd like back (Tombstone passing on 4th and inches and not converting comes to mind) but either way it was a great season for both squads who were very deserving to be in the finale for a 2nd year in a row. Now.... the rest of us need to make sure there isn't a rubber match next season

I don't see the 5 wide fakes working too well. Tried them out and the problem is if you blitz a FS/SS like you guys do there is not enough time. The fakes take a little running down the field to fire. We don't have too many players with Fakes ourselves.

We also almost gave the game back passing with under 1 minute and half left. That was my AI Screw up. I though for sure on that 3rd and long The Outlaws CB was going to pick off that pass.

I ran the fakes this season and they were successful. Now everyone is going to run the fakes.

Except for me. I get the feeling that the fakes are going to get nerfed pretty hard. I'm holding off until I read a LOT more before picking my bonus SAs.

Also I'm not creating anyone today because I need my flex back, so I'll look this all over at work and see what can be done.

I agree on the 5WR formation.. i'm just talking about 5 offensive players running down the field catch faking.. in any formation. Only play that works consistently in 5WR is the shallow cross.. I thought we did a good job on that today.. even though the QB got through his reads quickly and completed a couple of passes to a heavily covered WR1.

I agree with TT.. can't see them letting the catch fakes be this powerful next season.... my test team has 2 TEs and 2 WRs with catch fake and they were causing all kinds of problems in out test scrimmage w/ Tombstone this morning.

I think LSM had 3 WRs with catch fake .. and 3 QBs with pump fake.. nightmare.. I tell you.. an absolute nightmare to defend.

I agree they are overpowered even though we never invested in them. Only problem I see is if we complain will they change the passing game too much, you know how one change can ruin everything, or do we team up as a group and figure out how to counter them? We are a great passing team, imagine if we were full of fakes like Dharma had. When they are that over powered it's an embarresment to the game. No one gets faked to the extent they stop and the Wrs run wide open. Even when you double with say a FS/CB they both get faked. I hear some say vision is not the answer. I suggested to some that Cbs may need to counter with Super Vision.

Hats off to both teams. That was an awesome dotball game!
