Considering that you have lost both of the last two Gold championships to him and looks like you are going to face him for a 3rd time, I figured you wouldn't be against this. Consider the recent run of championships that the Lakers have had, mainly due to Phil Jackson, who is known to be an elite NBA coach, probably the best there ever was. Just imagine if Phil took over the LA Clippers as well so every Western Conference finals was Lakers vs Clippers. Then imagine if we went back to the Bulls as well so he owns the NBA Finals also. First of all that would never happen. But say it did, how would you feel if you ran or were on another NBA team and were very good, but just couldn't figure out how to beat Phil?

this is terrible.

Think about how much time it takes to run a peewee gold team. do you really think someone could be heavily involved in alot of gold teams, and be sucessful?

Please! I BEG to differ.

I mean, obviously my statement was a completely random guess supported by no fact at all. I said dead.ed because he dc'd my team last year and i said redwin because i used to watch DoRD games all the time.

I think anyone can beat any team at any time. I suck at this game and I went 11-5 in Gold in basically my second season running a team.

If not for a fluke fumble return I may have beat Tombstone. I don't know about Cascade because I was out of town and couldn't game plan. I got stomped by MMD even though I thought I game planned pretty well. There were teams I beat such as Chicago that I shouldn't have beat.

There is some parity, but I will fully admit mccollums defense is tougher than shit to crack! Good luck the rest of the way gentlemen...

Actually...nothing against McCulloms, as he is a great coach...but LSM lost that game on their own.

Getting in on this late.. was busy last night..

No Fear - just watched LSM game.. wow! cringing on every play - I love the SAs and the offense they bring but I do hope they are a bit more realistic next season. Catch Fakes should not make defenders stop dead in their tracks.. don't understand the reasoning behind that. I agree on the outcome, don't know how we pulled it out.. but it wasn't all luck.. good AI by Gruppo on changing the offense when things weren't working and I'm pretty proud to hold that offense in the 14-21 point range.

As for being HC of 2 Gold teams.. here's a not so quick story of how it happened.. Last season I didn't plan on getting quite as involved in the AI with both teams.. It's not like Tombstone needed help since they were 15-1 in season 13. .. But about 5 days before the season started I had an accident while snow sledding.. 3 broken vertebrae later I had nothing to do besides pop Percocet and heal. First game of last season , DC for Tombstone and the Goats had real life issues that prevented them from game planning.. while hopped up on Percocet I threw together a D AI for Tombstone and gave Gruppo access to my Crabs D AI to copy some plays.. I then took over the defense for the Goats since I had the time and Gruppo wasn't ready to do everything for his team... I also got more involved with Tombstone because.. like I said.. I had the time. Goats didn't expect to win Silver 4, so we didn't discuss or set expectations for the next season.. I just knew it didn't feel right leaving either team.. and remember we (Goats) tried to move to the East.

As for the DC question.. Tombstone's DC DuPrea79 is the best DC I've seen build 1 base D per input that pretty much shuts down all the plays. I'm better at tagging and input scenarios, but his Base Ds are remarkable. Considering the top 2 defenses in season 13 were the Crabs and Tombstone it's been a pretty successful marriage. Dead Ed, I was familiar with him since Goats/Mobsters went 5 quarters before the Goats kicked a FG to win Silver 4 championship 3-0.. when LE hired him and mentioned it on this board... I knew it wasn't good for the East and for Pee Wee Gold especially since there's no argument at all on who the best OC is in Pee Wee....drum roll.. Lord Evil.

I don't have as much time this season.. and I think it showed early.. especially with Tombstone...DuPrae brothers and I were still in our championship hangover stage... we didn't game plan near as much this season.

One thing I want to mention.. after the season is over.. we need to make some noise with GLB and have them address some of the lower level issues. It's doubtful there will be a lot of change since Bort is focused on the new training system... but we have to try. To some of the agents that want to abandon Pee Wee for various reasons.. hold tight... let's try to make an organized and reasonable argument to our concerns and see if we can get things working better.... don't want to see 1Kwedna go away.. or Brogrim.. we can at least band together and have a NO custom EQ Gold league (in S16) that will go a long way in getting our concerns heard and save us some $$$$ in the process.

2 neck vertebrae, 1 back.. luckily it was the non weight bearing part of the spine.. hurt like hell for a LONG time but no long term problems and no paralysis scare..

the not so funny thing is.. the tree I hit while going backwards on an inner tube was guarded by our neighbor... he decided to take a cell phone call on my way down the hill.. not only our cell phones dangerous while driving.. but also while tree spotting.
